After running a few benchmarks this morning (I'm working from home and trying REAL hard not to play) I played for 5 min or so just to see how it's running. Luckily I'm not having the issues a lot of people seem to be having.
1440p, most everything on Ultra,a few high settings, and one or two on Medium - I'm getting 55-60 FPS. Again, not a large sample size but so far so good. Looks freaking amazing. And I can live with 60fps, or just under. Hopefully a patch will fix some optimization, shadows and such can be finnicky.
Two things I did:
1) Rolled back to the Nvidia 441.08 CoD GameReady Driver
2) Changed some settings on the Nvidia Control Panel - max power, 1 pre-rendered frame, tripplebuffering off, specified my GPU and GSync.
Not sure if/how much the NCP settings helped, but I usually set those same settings on every game instead of allowing the global profile to take over.
Anyway, I'm feeling hopeful that it'll continue running well, assuming any patch doesn't have adverse effects. Especially considering the snow is so intensive, saw much better FPS during the benchmark when not on the opening snow frame.
