Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
So I caved and bought it. Playing it a bit different this time through. Since I already beat it on console I’m just taking my time right now. Not rushing through stuff. Doing more hunting and side missions more so than the main story. Have some mods installed like infinite horse stamina to get to places quicker and infinite horse health. Some trainers come in handy too.
Has anyone found a real good sweetFx mod yet without significant FPS drops?SpoilerLEENNNNNYYYY!!!!
Trying to get the Legend of the East satchel before moving on. Really taking my time this go around.
Also interested in a SweetFX mod, especially now the patches have made the game so much more stable.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Have you ever noticed how fast the day / night cycles are and the fact that the day last twice as long as the night?
There is a mod that changes that in which you have total control of the day and night cycle speeds. It's technically two mods but they are very easy to install. There are 4 files that you copy into the main folders directory. 3 to get it to work (offline only) and one is a config file that you can change the numbers with in notepad.
This is the download for the scripthook
This is the longer days download

I'd love this mod but the possibility of screwing with the core of the game worries me.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I haven't noticed anything wonky. You can always try it out and if you don't like it for whatever reason you can simply just delete the files from the main folder as they are additions not overriding any prior files.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I've owned the game for over a year but only just discovered that it's possible to hitch a ride with random wagons as they pass by. Really helped me out of a bind when I'd lost my horse while also building a sense of community.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I've had at least 6 or 7 crashes tonight. Last night I had another 4 or 5 in just only a couple of hours of playtime. It's frustrating because the game is playing smooth now, it's just constantly crashing.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I have yet to have a crash on PC. Hopefully this isn’t the kiss of death

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I bought the game a week after it came out and haven't had any crashing issues. Game is running like butta. I'm using a gtx1080.Comment
