They just randomly pop up. I've encountered 2 groups. One in the woods, and a smaller group of 3 that were trying to raise a cross for nefarious means. I shot the two in the white robes, chased down the leader in the black robe, hogtied him and laid him facedown in a pool of water.

spent thirty minutes buying premium cigarette packs to finish that one and make the trinket. Some of the challenges like three throwing knife kills in ten seconds or win three rounds of fillet are such a pain in the ***.

I found a group outside of Strawberry and dispersed them with a stick of dynamite.

I think Arthur called them "hooded lizards" afterwards too.

I think they need to rework their Moral Compass in this game. I was riding around minding my business when some dude is sick and dying. He begs me for help so I pulled out my gun and shot him in the head, he didn't suffer one bit, I helped him out, I mean what would they do to my horse if it was dying?

For me it's the slippery slope is all, not necessarily the thing that was said. It's getting a little loose around here when it comes to game-beating perks/character involvements and the like. I know it's a prequel story but still.

When hunting, is there a way to keep only the pelt of larger game? Example: I'm hunting elk and need two pelts for satchel upgrades. When I kill and skin an elk, I'm given the huge rollup of stuff to throw on the back of my horse. I'd rather ditch all that extra stuff and just keep the flat pelt which I can store 12 of. This way I don't have to make one trip all the way to hunt then back to Pearson to drop off a pelt.

Is the reason it's rolled up because it's containing all of the other stuff? I just assumed it was rolled up because it was damn big, and the rest "went into the satchel."

If you're having a pelt roll-up issue, two other remedies for this would be:

1) Bring your temporary horse with you on the trip and put the second pelt on its back.
2) Carry it all the way to camp on your own shoulder.

It is because it's so large but it also includes meat, the antlers, etc. You can see the antlers sticking out when you have an elk on your horse. When you kill smaller game, say a deer, you're given the option to skin it or carry it. If you carry it, you bring all the goodies with you. If you skin it you keep just the pelt, laying flat on the rear of your horse. That's what I'd like to do with the larger pelts but maybe the game makes it impossible since they're so large.
