There's some islands in the middle of Flat Iron Lake that have some.

I tried to swim over there and drowned lol. Guess i'll have to wait until the boats unlock.

Yeah the swimming sucks in this game. But whenever boats unlock you can get there. Sometimes they just show up near on the mainland shore of the lake as well.

Has everyone done a pretty good job at avoiding spoilers re:the story?

This morning, I went to YouTube to look for a song. Upon typing in the Youtube address and reaching the site, I'm greeted with videos recommended for me. The very first video is a HUGE spoiler that I'm assuming is either the end of the game or towards the end. I haven't searched any RDR2 videos on Youtube or anything like that, so rest assured I am extremely pissed haha.

While playing the main story I didn't go to Twitch, didn't check my Twitter timeline, didn't browse this area of OS and just kept a low profile. It has almost become a ritual when a long, story driven game I know I'm going to play comes out.

Right, I get that. But I simply typed youtube.com into my brower and BAM, huge RDR2 spoiler right in front of my face without me even trying to find one lol. So lame

I read on the RDR 2 reddit that they purposefully made it so John can't swim. Not that Arthur was Phelps, but that John will instantly start to drown when in deeper water

If you played the game and played both epilogues, his wife says John can't swim when he proposes to her in the boat. She says something along the lines of: You want to go out in a boat ? But you can't swim.

The amount of hilarious stuff that has happened in that game, both offline and online, just great. I'm loving this game. Hopefully the online gets better

Really wish I could drop some weapons out of my saddles weapon wheel. Having to hold onto everything for eternity is so stupid. Don't know how I ended up with two double action revolvers. Oh, and that rare rolling block rifle that's the same stats as my normal one. So irritating.
