Which is wild because when these games first released 20 years ago, we at least got a TON of information from GamePro Magazine like a week or 2 before release, lol

It felt like Christmas everytime we knew the next GameInformer was going to have the cover page be the upcoming GTA and that they'd have 10 pages of information on the game.

I can't tell you the last time I ever read a GameInformer magazine let alone even saw one. It was a different time back then. I'd check the mail, get the magazine, see the GTA cover, run inside and read it, then instantly go right back and read it over again.

Nowadays all I care about is seeing unedited gameplay for a little bit.

It is odd how this all came out. Most of what we know came from leaks and one main reveal from Rockstar. Since it comes out next Thursday, we'll likely get a Game Review on Monday or Tuesday. It would be nice to just know about the soundtrack and see combat/weapon gameplay

For me, I'll leaning towards just waiting for the last gen version to go on sale and taking advantage of smart delivery/next gen upgrade.

Should be an onslaught of media this week. If it was anything other than GTA I'd think something is wrong if there isnt... but it's GTA, they'll make their money either way.

Had this come through my YouTube feed. Had me laughing out loud. I vividly remember how awful the controls were inside of the police station.

First thing I'm going to do:

Press pause, and in settings turn off "motion trail effects" or whatever it's called.

I skimmed it, but after seeing Claude's car going into the water and him dying, I'm guessing there is no possibility of swimming even to shore for safety.

I wouldn't expect Claude or Tommy to be able to swim.

Glad they left it alone for the most part.

I’ll more than likely will be copping this and going right into San Andreas, then Vice City and then GTA3.

Looks like what I expected. Near original gameplay, modern graphics, some QoL improvements.

I'll take it and be more than happy as long as it isn't super buggy. 3 of my favorite games all time remastered 20 years later and for $20 each? I can't complain much with it.

Milk the series and remaster GTA IV and I'll spend money on it also.
