        :y4: Weenie.

It helps with muscle growth and recovery too, and gives me energy to get through the day, so I take it...

but mainly, the reason above, lol.

Went to the doc, I was right - it's a pulled muscle in my mid-back. I have to take it easy for the next 3-4 weeks, I might kill myself.

They say you lose 10 lbs on your max lifts for every week you take off, wonderful.

You'll be amazed at how fast it takes to recover that though.

Yes because it helps maintain the same level of creatine in your body.

Yeah, you'll get back in no time brother... don't sweat it. Just take it easy and don't push it and make things worse.

I have a pinched nerve in my left elbow now for some reason, and it kills me when I lift... not a whole lot I can do about it at this point.

The injury or getting my lifts back to normal?

My back is a concern, I have a history of serious back problems (spondylosisthesis) so I hope that it being "only" a muscle pull and nothing structural it will be back to normal before I know it.

Either way it sucks, it's the middle of summer and I can't do a damn thing for a month.

Your lifts will be right back where they were in no time.
A few weeks back I changed my routine. I did 4 weeks of low weights and lots of cardio.
After this, my top bench was about 10lbs off from what it was. But within 3-4 weeks it was right back where it was. Don't sweat it.

I should also tell you that I had a certified trainer (who also had a university degree in health sciences and kinisiology) that it takes at least 6 weeks for muscles to atrophy if NO work is done at all. You're mind will play tricks on you and you'll think that you're getting smaller but it's physically impossible after only a few weeks.

In all seriousness muscle atrophy starts after 12 days.

I had a quick question for all of you workout experts. I just started a while back and my aim is to get cut more than big per se so what someone told me to do was 3 sets of 12, 10, and 10. Is that satisfactory or should I try to go for more reps per set?

Also I know this was discussed before but what is the best way to lose fat? I assume it was cardio excercise like running or swimming but then in this thread I thought I saw some people say it was working out, so some clarification on the matter would be appreciated.

edit: Also how has the Guerilla Cardio Workout been going for most people here?
