That Sony SXRD is nice. I was looking the other day for the hell of it at LCD's. I already have 2 smaller LCD's at home, 23" and 32", but I would like to replace my 50" RPHD with an LCD eventually, but I doubt it this year.

I say you buy one by June.

Yeah, I'm in college PT... I work for myself working on my attorney's PC's, network, etc, and he hooked me up with 8 of his other attorney's so I do work for all of them.

But the recent surge of buying is all due to the fact that I had money out the butt saved up for a trip to Greece for a honeymoon... needless to say, that didn't pan out, so I was left w/ my stash of money

LOL, please tell me you don't sleep with your PS3!

1080p and 720p (what your LCD should be in) will not be a drastic difference. As I told Candy, I was at Best Buy, and they hooked 2 PS3's up to 2 DLP's, one in 720p and one in 1080p, no one could tell the difference at all.

But the recent surge of buying is all due to the fact that I had money out the butt saved up for a trip to Greece for a honeymoon... needless to say, that didn't pan out, so I was left w/ my stash of money

I know, the smartest thing would have been to put all the money in that account and had a larger downpayment, etc. But I hadn't bought myself anything hardly when we were together, and felt I owed it to myself, lol. Plus, I can't buy a house right now.. don't know where I'll be stationed at after the KSP training. So right now, my living is in limbo.

But Cali, lol... I wish. I mean, the money is nice... but it'd be nicer if they were 8 hot, young, female attorneys... lol.

Anyway, my problem is this... my uncle wants my Sammy DLP, and is offering up a little more than what I ended up paying for it.

It's used equipment and he's offering more than you paid for? No brainer. Sell it ASAP.

When are the LCD's supposed to start dropping drastically in price. I know it's sometime in 2007...

Luckily i live with a my brother and sister so we can get all the nice stuff all together and not spend as much individually. But all we really want is a nice dlp and a 360 with a couple games. We spent good money on our goose down couch and dinner table.

But i do have a problem spending money on my car, i have spent close to 3 grand on upgrades and rims. Good thing I am pretty much done hooking up my car so I'm going to try and save as much money as I can now.

And yeah, bought a new deep chocolate leather sofa and loveseat a few months ago as well... and some other furnishings.. but that's pretty much it for the home.

Your room is 13X17? My family room is 12X24, I think... And I have a 34" tv, works fine for me.

My living room is 16X30 I believe, and I have a 30 inch in there (yes, I realize they are backwards, but we spend more time in the family room, it's where the fireplace is, etc).

:y4: Yeah, I'm in an apartment right now though bro... I don't plan on staying here for that long, which is why I went with the larger tv. In retrospect, I think a 50-55" should definitely do the trick. Even 42" would probably be alright.. but I just see those other ones, and am drawn to them. It's like a bug zapper... lol.

Hey guys.. I need help finding a Macbook Core 2 Duo notebook. Minimum specs are okay (1.83Ghz, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD, etc)... I need it quick though. Anyone know of anywhere? Apple has them listed for $1049 for students, but I don't want to pay that much. Amazon has them for alittle cheaper, but says 4-6 weeks for shipping, and I can't wait that long, lol.

Not if my wife kills me before I walk out the door to go get one. Seriously, I bought enough TV's last year, I will most likely replace the RP sometime next year. This year I need to replace 7 windows at home + gut the bathtub to put a new one in + a new tub surround. No TV this year unless this one dies, then I have no choice. What sucks is that I want a 50" LCD which will cost a pretty penny if I decide to go with 1080P, if I go without 1080P than it won't be as expensive.
