being young, foolish, & on my own does the trick.. i have had them for two years now, however thinking about cancelling one of them (Sirus).. though, I must say, still a bit cheaper than buying every new game when they come out (or system for that matter).. both radios I have on a six-month payment plan, which, if I bought a ps3, would be about 3 years worth of radio listening.... (360 came when I traded in a TON of old stuff)..

Glad to know I am not alone. I filed my taxes yesterday and will be getting a nice return ($1700) which I could easily put towards some new technology but I am going to put that money away.Comment

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
yeah I think I am a part of the club also...
I bought another Laptop, a PS3, 2 new surround sound systems, digital camera, 3 PS3 games, 2 360 games, and am in the market for a HD-DVD player for the 360, and a 42 inch lcd/plasma...
oh and I need another 27 inch lcd for my wifes desktop, as she is jealous of my 27 inch that I have for my desktop...
All of this within a months time...
After this I am going into rehab.. lolPSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
Okay, so I bought a PSP about a year back and never used it...
I gave it to my wife. Thankfully she uses it a fair bit. Otherwise I'd never have heard the end of "you wasted money AGAIN" etc...
Anyway, she does really like it.
I am thinking of buying a PS3 on the basis that SHE likes the PSP and that the PS3 "is a natural accessory for it".
My fallback if she asks why I spent so much $ (when I already have a 360 and swore that would be the only system I needed)...my fallback line is going to be "hey, I thought YOU'D enjoy it. It goes so well with your PSP. I didn't really want it, just thought it would be cool for you to be able to use the PS3 with all your photos and stuff. It's got a lot of features for that kind of thing"...
That's how I plan to justify any purchase...
Reading it back...I realise how weak that sounds.

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
To be honest, I think it could actually work man. Tell her that you were talking to me about my PSP, and I mentioned that my wife (made up) loves it as well, and I recently bought her a PS3 for the integration capabilities.
Also, pick up a chick flick BluRay movie and tell her that you wanted it so you all could enjoy some more quality time together.

if i tried that with my girlfriend, she would probably look at me and say 'do you think i'm that stupid?'To be honest, I think it could actually work man. Nowhere in this incoherent babbling was there even one thing that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone who has read this thread is now dumber for having read this post. I think it's a bad idea and may God have mercy on your soul.Okay, so I bought a PSP about a year back and never used it...

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
I played around with a Zune and didn't care for it. At the same time, I didn't like the PSP either...LOL
Of the 2, I'd keep the PSP, but you already said you are getting bored with gaming and don't care for mobile gaming. So the Zune would probably be your better choice.
Rumors of a new Zune coming out later this summer though...but that's neither here or there.Comment

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
I'm selling the PSP, either that, or taking it to another Sam Goody store, trading it in for two DS Lite's, and selling them (since they seem to be selling better)... I just thought that if the Zune was a nice device, I would possibly pick it up.
What didn't you like about it?Twitter - WTF_OS

They actually have DS Lite's? For me, I don't need a video player or ability to see pictures on a 2 inch screen. I have just a plain ol' 30 GB MP3 player, does nothing but play music, no color screen, no anything. It's all I need, and all I want. So for the money, I just saw nothing in the Zune that made me say "I need this"Comment

Re: Chronic Technology Buyer Support Group
Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at with them as well... I don't need all of the extra frills that make it cost so much. I want a basic MP3 player for when I'm running, etc.
As for the DS Lites', they had 6 the other day, called back, and they still had 5. If they are there tomorrow, I'm goingto go pick up a couple and sell them.Twitter - WTF_OS
