Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
Yea, what many fail to realize is that she's a female. Even if she understood how I felt about going and we agreed about me not participating, deep down she'd still be upset. Just as with the majority of what a female says, they often say what they dont mean. From what I understand this prom thing is probably the single most important event up to now in a females life. They want this thing to be flawless and perfect. Any hitch in their plans could spiral into disaster.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
LOL, WHAT A POST!!
All jokes aside, if that was my daughter you would meet my heater. Leave her alone, there are plenty of women your age. You cantry tojustify itall you want, but you two should be on 2 different levels no matter how mature she appears to be now. This girl hasn't left home yet and really shown you her real character. The sad part is going to be when she dumps you for a guy her own age because they will have more in common.
There are also plenty of women my age who act like thier in high school. I dont really see your point. As for the 2 diffrent levels, I thought I explained that already. If I felt she was being fake or haven't shown me how true colors yet, I'd be a fool to get this involved. Besides, if you would of read my last long post, you'd see that she is'nt in a typical situation like most her age. Anyway, I dont why some of yall have this facsination with the maturity levels. As much as I've dated and been in relationships, age associated with maturity levels means nothing.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

If she's old enough to be in porn, join the military and vote, she's old enough for me.Comment

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
i gotta agree with the man Texas. As a father of a teenage daughter if she brought home someone who was significantly older then her, me and him would have words. And if he took it to another level, oh man watch out.XBL Gamertag: Ralphy2142

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
Actually I have a daughter and if she were in HS and decided to bring home a 25+ year old I would at least be open minded enough to get to know the boy first before I pass judgment. The truth is that there have been many instances where older guys have taken advantage of younger girls for whatever reason so most parents automatically assume that an older guy is simply looking for sex when its not always the case. At least with me it is'nt. So they automatically disqualify a potential partner for thier daughter based on history. I completely understand cause there are alot of sexual predators out here. I actually know a few. What I dont like is how everything is generalized nowadays. A teen is a teen and a adult is a adult and a senior is a senior. Truthfully, we are all raised diffrent and while most can be generalized there are many exceptions. Most people refuse or fail to realize that.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
Girls who have divorced parents = damaged goods. I had two GF's who were the product of split parents and it was a nightmare. I'll never date another girl who's parents aren't together."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
And that would prove what? injure or kill someone and spend time in jail where you really can't do anything about your GROWN daughter then.
Yeah, that sounds like a logical choice.Comment

Obviously my post was an over-generalization, you didn't need to take it as the absolute rule."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
In your heart of hearts you know its wrong thats why you went along with the lie to her parents. Thats why you have posted on here to allow us to "talk you into it". Face up to it man, this has gone on long enough, if you really love her, let her go. You will eventually cause a rift between her and her parents that may never heal.
Good advice. The truth hurts.
At this point in time I dont feel I have to let her go. Nobody will die or break ties if my age is dicovered. Why do you think I spent all this time getting to know them for. So my age wont matter. And eventually it wont. As for being talked into it, that was more about prom than anything. I understand the cause for concern over the age but it was the least of my concerns when I created this thread. I'm tired of having to explain myself about this relationship. If most disagree with it, fine, no love lost but for the last time, the age gap and the fact that lied about my age is'nt even in the equation right now. Will it eventually? Of course it will but obviously me and her are willing to deal with it when the time comes. Its not like we're totally in denial about it. Am I a fool for going through all this? Sure, I'd take that title but in all honestly, you guys really have no clue. Ok, with that out the way, hopefully this is the last time I gotta speak on the age issue.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: What have I gotten myself into?!?
Maybe its a cultural thing but I personally dont know anyone...and I repeat...anyone besides myself who currently has parents who are still together. Marriages seem to be overrated in these times.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment
