    Pretty much any Porter

I've also been on a Harpoon kick lately. This is my "light" beer.

My "everyday drinker" is Labatt's Blue. Can't beat a Blue.

Finally, light beer should be banned from this planet. What's the point? It's HORRIBLE. People who like light beer obviously don't give a damn about the taste of a fine beer and should just get club soda instead. It's the same damn thing, and it's a lot cheaper.

      Take care,

Well, the light beer is cheap so it makes it better for parties in college where you need lots of 30 packs. But, with that said I hate light beer because it tastes like seltzer with a hint of beer in it.

      My top ones:

      Heineken
      Newcastle Brown Ale

If your parents give it to you, and you are drinking in your own house, I'm pretty sure you can drink legally even under 21. If that is one of the laws you're referring to.

And, if that is such a law, I will only go with beers I have had with my parents:

Blue Moon would probably be the best tasting. Other than that it's Coors Light because I hate all of my dad's beers. I just haven't acquired a taste for I.P.A.'s

I hate beer, too. I'm with Acid, on this one. Hard alcohol or wine any day.

That said, the only beer I like is Newcastle.

Everyday beer/mass consumption beer: Coors Lite

                  Otherwise:
                  Heineken
Leinenkugels Honey Weis and Sunset Wheat
                  Dos Equis
                  Corona

I haven't had too many other beers. I have only been 21 since January.

Texas is one state that I know of that you can drink alcohol if you are with a consenting parent/guardian/spouse (at least it was when I was there).

Also, the Marine Corps just passed an order stating that you can drink on a Marine Corps base at 18 years of age and older (it was like this when I joined but was revoked back in '93). Thank God, because if you can go into combat and give your life at 18 then you should be able to drink a beer.

Have you tried Hornsby Draft Cider? I first had it back in high school () and have periodically had a six pack since.

I prefer beer and wine though. The hard stuff just doesn't do it for me (except when it's free, like at my wife's upcoming annual company meeting ). I guess I've never found the perfect mixed drink, I hate doing shots, and can't make stuff at home at all!

Though I am partial to Long Island Iced Teas, though...

How's the Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, bergie? I've seen them around here and have never bought any (a shame, I know). I tried the Anheiser-Busch "Sunset Wheat" or whatever their spring beer is called and thought it was pretty good (though the whiskey cask AB winter ale was off the charts).

I know this was directed at bergie, but I have tried the Leine Sunset Wheat. It was too orange-y for my taste. I can drink a Blue Moon every once in a while, but the orange flavor of the Leine was simply overpowering for my taste. I do like their Honey Weiss though.

I really wish I could get my hands on this beer. I am east of the Mississippi, the unfortunate states that can't get this one. I would like to try it, only hear good things!

if you don't like it orange-y, then don't place an orange slice in it.
