Re: Favorite Beer(s)
I've noticed alot of the guys up north drink the more heavy beers while the guys down south drink the more light beers(not light as in Miller Lite, but light as in if you've ever had a blue moon and compared it to New Castle or Amberbock). Why is that?Twitter

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
Does it have something to do with the weather possibly? I find that I enjoy the thicker, heartier beers when it is cooler out. Also do we (northerners) enjoy a heartier diet/cuisine? This would probably explain it as well. I love a thick beer with a meat and potatos type meal. Who knows though?Comment

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
Wow, you've really added a lot to this thread. White Zif? Yummers? Do you tuck your wang between your legs when you get dressed?
The beer you've had tastes like piss, most of what people are talking about here does not.Comment

Wow, there is a lot of Yuengling love. I live where it's brewed, Pottsville, PA. I don't like much of it, though, mainly Porter and Black and Tan are the ones I enjoy. There is a bar here where you can get a bottle of Yuengling for like 1.00 or 1.25, haha.
My Fav's are
Rogue: Dead Guy Ale & Mocha Porter
Michael Shea's Irish Amber Lager
Guinness
Yuengling: Black & Tan, Porter

Add some Heineken to this list and I'm set. Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada are my favorites by far though.Comment

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
I don't think I've bought anything besides Guiness or Newcastle since 2005. As a matter of fact, I haven't bought ANY beer yet in 2007. That's definitely a record for me.
Been on a Bacardi & Diet kick when I do drink, which has been very rare so far this year. But with summer on the horizon, watch out!"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
Did you ever go to the Upland Brewery and have their beers on draught there? The word "delicious" can't even begin to describe it.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
Another good beer comes from a restaurant/microbrewery in my area.
Hereford and Hops
They have a few of these in other states, but they make some excellent beer. The food is pretty darn good as well.Comment

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
I like Leinenkugels with the Honey Weiss being my favorite. I had never tried the Berry Weiss but, just this past weekend I just picked up a six pack because I was curious to how it was. I tried one and that six pack should have stayed on the store shelf. I'm not a fan of the Berry Weiss as it was way too fruity for my taste, maybe it will grow on me. Because I'm sure as hell not going to just let the other 5 bottles go to waste so, it's got 5 more chances to change my mind.It is pretty good. If you have ever had Blue Moon they taste pretty similar but I prefer the Sunset Wheat to Blue Moon. It does have a slight orange taste to it but I dont think it is that strong. I don't think I could drink too many as it tends to fill me quickly. If you enjoy the Leinenkugel taste, I am sure that you will enjoy Sunset Wheat. I would suggest adding an orange slice if you drink it out of the tap or poor it into a pilsner glass.
Any Leinenkugels fans enjoy the Honey/Berry Weiss mix?Comment

Re: Favorite Beer(s)
Did you mix the Honey and Berry Weis? It is really good in about a 2/3 Honey Weis and 1/3 Berry Weis combo. I agree though, Berry Weis straight up is far too sweet.I like Leinenkugels with the Honey Weiss being my favorite.
