Blah blah blah blah blah." I'm sitting there thinking: "Can't you just wait two minutes and tell me when you're at home?" And trust me it's never dire information about something she needs or something that just happened so she remembers to tell me. It normally would end with: "Okay, I'm pulling into the garage right now, see you in a sec."
This one is different to me, it sounds like she was giving you a 2 minute warning to clear out any silliness you may have had going on

My mom was the opposite, she and my stepdad would go camping and tell me the day they'd be back, and then come back a day early trying to catch me in silliness, they'd even have my uncle drop by while they were gone to "check".

It never worked, I'm as introverted as it comes, I'm not at home having parties and whatnot, I'm just playing video games and listening to music

Yeah, it sounds like a "close your open tabs" warning.

Do you guys lead with "BTW you're on speaker" if you're on a call?

          Yes

Its rare that I put a call on speaker but if I'm busy doing something and my son is around, I'll let the other party know (usually his mom or one of my friends) that I put the call on speaker so they can be advised that little ears are listening.

If someone else is in the room with me, yes, just so that they know it's not just me.

            Any other time, no.

As you can tell, me walking up to the counter and just saying "Can I have the Big Jake?" would clearly not be enough information.

My little nephew calls my mom Gaga by the way, which is why I said that.

I will call out this gear grinder every time...

When someone pulls out in front of you with the urgency that they are heading to a house fire to save a group of orphans from burning to their deaths...

And proceeds to go five under the speed limit.

I will slowly coast to a light in front of me that is red and has no intention of turning green any time soon... then somebody will love to use up gas and brakes to zoom ahead of me and halt at the red light.

Why they don't understand I'm simply being economical and will drive normally once green is beyond me, but hey it's their vehicle.

the one that grinds me most is someone pulling out in front of hellbent for leather, almost causing an accident, only then to immediately turn back off that road and into a parking lot or house driveway.
I get it if youre in a hurry and dont want to be stuck behind me if by chance I might be slow driving, but if you dont plan on being in front more than one hot minute, you best wait

People/companies who "create their own problems".

Someone could be mad they don't have enough time to do a specific mandatory thing, meanwhile they just spent 2 hours doing something completely optional and pointless.

Or for a company, I could go on all day about this, but a company for example saying their service is slow or blaming staff shortages for their problem, meanwhile that same company refuses to pay employees more money to want to apply/continue working there while that company still makes record numbers despite their "service/quality problems", or simply having enough staff on hand, but just refusing to schedule enough people/the ones who do want to work.
