Just be thankful a handicapped woman didn't fly down the parking lot and hurt herself. You might have had to be her butler for awhile.

LOL, well I took the furthest handicap spot from the door to begin with. So if she had, it'd be her own handicapped fault. (-=

That's funny...not only were you fully abled and using a handicap spot, but you were fully abled and going to run races in a track meet while parked in a handicapped spot.

            It is pretty funny huh?

There really were no other spots in the entire lot, that was the funny thing. It was the strangest thing, we had meets there every week, and this was the one time the lot was full in the 3 years I did indoor track.

I don't think I've done it since, other than maybe parking in a spot for 2 minutes, again on a college campus, while someone ran a book into the library.

I just had a flashback to an old Seinfeld eppy. Remember when the gang parked in a handicap space and when they came back the car was trashed?

George's dad sentenced George to be his butler to pay for the car (referencing my earlier Seinfeld comment).

Ah, that's what triggered the flashback. It's all coming together. LOL!

My only problem about handicap spots is that there are just too damn many of them. You to Target or Walmart and there are 20+ handicap spots and at most two or three are actually being used. I guess the government mandates that you need one for every X amount of customers or how big your store is, etc., but it's way overdone.

I don't know if you ever Watch Penn and Teller's Bull**** on HBO or Showtime, but they just did a show on this, which was pretty interesting. People can get handicap plates for some random handicaps. There were a bunch of other just outrageous disabilities, but it was pretty interesting none the less.

A few things that "grind my gears"

People who have children who whine and cry because they can't go out anymore because of their children and complain about the price of a babysitter. One of my in-laws was in last week without their children and complained because I didn't want to take them out for a night of drinking because I was tired.

Warnings on coffee cups that say "liquid may be hot" It dang well better be unless it's a frappucino
