Of course its not every single employee but in comparison when I go through the Burger King drive thru the employees always ask me if I need anything and then give me the bag open which helps me look at my order quickly before driving away.

I once asked a McDonald's employee for ketchup and I swear she said "How many because we can't give too many away." I wanted to say "374 please." Stupidity like that pisses me off. I understand businesses have to pay for their stuff and control even their ketchup inventory but don't give me insulting cheapskate answers like that when I know McDonald's corporation has way more money than I'll ever have and I'm a paying customer that just dropped like twelve bucks and you can't spare literally a couple ounces of ketchup that probably cost you five cents.

While im at it, McDonald's insistence on providing employment for teenagers is the reason my order is f'd up 80% of the time. If ur gonna hire teenagers at least do a better job of training them to not be so stupid and lazy. And if they are, fire them. I once knew a sweetheart lady who managed a McDonald's, poor lady would vent to me about the asinine teenage employees she had to deal with.

That is the truth. They basically wait tables like they are a real restaurant. And best food in my opinion when it comes to fast food.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

It's because there's portioning sizes, and sometimes they aren't followed.

I worked at a pizza joint, and everything was portioned out on charts right on the makeline. But that board fills up during the rush, and to me it's more about making sure it's ready when we say it should be then how pretty it is. I tried to do it right when I could, but Friday night at a pizza place? Forget about it.

Not saying I skimped on anyone's toppings. I was probably the best with being the most consistent, and that's why they beg me to work when I can even though I have a full time job. I've seen some people throw some stuff together that's just embarrassing, though. You should know about how much is correct and not have to use the cups to make sure. The main problem was training, really. There's so much turnover at fast food places that they need people to step in immediately. Training a new person on the busiest nights of the week isn't really helping. Alas, these places pay minimum wage, so they get minimum effort from their employees.

Until they have robots that can make your pizza, sandwich, etc there's always going to be that human error. Johnny has a heavy hand, but Jenny is light on her toppings. Other variables include time of day, day of the week, how busy it is at the moment (and it can pop at any time), and the customer themselves. My definition of extra cheese may not be your definition.

        Just some insight.

Still, I've made very few mistakes working at a pizza place over 3+ years. It happens. But some people are just flat out dumb or don't care enough to make sure the order is right before sending it.

That's the truth. They're scary pleasant there. Always get my order right, though sometimes forget the sauce.

There's a McDonald's by my work too that is ALWAYS on point. I don't have a complicate order, but I do request no cheese on my sandwich. I've gone there probably close to 50 times in the 1.5 years (I feel gross now...) I've worked up this way, not one single mistake. Although I did get breakfast there once and the egg was half frozen.

By contrast, the one closest to my house is in a kinda shady area, and I get notoriously ****ty service. My work McD's is in a nice area and no mistakes. I don't think it's a coincidence, honestly.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I believe Chik-fil-A pays their employees more and they require high school age kids to actually have good grades. When I go into a CFA and then a MCD and speak with the cashier there is an instant difference in the perceived attitude and intelligence of the workers.

On the topic of customer service...

I was at Lowe's last night and was working with this female who was polite, professional, and seemed to have a pretty good grasp of the area we needed assistance. We wanted to get a custom made bathroom sink vanity top. We weren't ready to commit last night so we slept on the idea. The female saved our order on the Lowe's program and printed it out for us.

This morning we go back and we get this man and I immediately stereotyped him after 30 seconds. I wrote on a piece of paper to my fiance that this guy sounds STUPID. He was polite and professional but he didn't seem very intelligent on the matter of vanity tops. I just had that feeling we got a guy who was going to mess something up and we had specific needs for this project. He couldn't figure out the software program and what should've taken 10-15 minutes took us an hour and a half. He randomly got up at one point and didn't even tell us where he was going. He then brought over a couple people to help him out and they couldn't figure it out either.

Overall a terrible experience with Lowe's but they still got our money.

The MLB 14 PS4 forums. It is an absolute shame that certain people are allowed to use the internet. Maybe I expect too much out of people. You know things like, respect, an open mind, maybe even common decency... but the complaining and trolling that happens on those forums is crazy. I just can't help but think these people are like this in their real lives away from their keyboards.

Commercials that advertise same effectiveness of a product as commercials from 10-15 years ago.

EX-A paper towel commercial advertises their paper towel able to clean up 100% of all messes(and act like the next leading brand is a half ripped up wash cloth pulled out of the garbage), razor commercials acting like the razor being advertised is the cleanest shave humanly possible, body lotion commercials acting like their lotion rehydrates skin as much as a body lotion can.

I get they're advertising their product and all, but commercials like those just seem so unoriginal, it's the exact same message for years, all acting like it's 100% perfect, yet somehow every time a new product is out, they're like "This is better than anything before". Paper towels have been advertised to clean up 100% of messes for decades, razors been advertised to provide cleanest shave possible for decades, dishwasher detergent advertised to make dishes perfectly clean for decades. Yet somehow, each one is better than the last?

We get those Life Alert commercials down here, the ambulances and paramedics in the commercial look at least late 80's to early 90's. Those poor older people shilling for the product are already dead

Speaking of food, and food portions. Applebee's has cut down on the amount of fries they give you and its to a point where you get more in a McDonalds small size. It used to be a pretty decent amount too. I even asked if they actually cut down and they did. The manager literally told me they had to pass off the cost onto the customers even more. And $10 for an order of boneless wings? Get real.

It doesn't end there with Applebee's. We went a couple weeks ago on a Saturday night and I looked at the little triangular drink special thing on the table and saw they had $3.99 Margaritas. So when the waitress came to take our drink orders the first thing she asks was if I wanted to try the such and such margarita. I say yep, I was just gonna ask for the margarita. So when I get the bill I see the margarita is $8.99. I'm like WTF!!

So I tell the waitress that they charged me wrong on the drink and she says oh no they didn't. You ordered the " " Margarita, its the " " Margarita that's on special tonight. Talk about misleading. Why on earth would I have ordered the margarita that wasn't on special? The manager ended up taking off half the cost of the drink.

I get there are two margaritas, but I didn't think I would be asked to have one that's not on special on the night the other one is. I didn't even think about it. I think that's pretty misleading.

Yeah, I don't think that was by accident. They hope people don't realize, and don't say anything or just pay it if they notice the bill.

I'm out on boneless wings. Prices are ridiculous everywhere except Pizza Hut right now where you can get 8 for $5. BWW I believe it's $10 for 8 now.

Cheddar's is where it's at. $3.50 house margarita's in a big schooner. They have a chicken finger basket that is enough for male adults and only $6.49 or upgraded to two traditional sides for $8.49. The amount of food you get would run you $15 at Applebee's.

The only good thing about Applebee's is half price appetizers after 10:00.

Of course the day after I post about wrong orders and whatnot, I get cheese on my sandwich from Five Guys. Kinda weird since there are separate orders for cheeseburger and regular burger. I wasn't charged extra thankfully. I had to chuck the one patty though, RIP. I was able to scrape the rest off of my toppings.
