I never even heard of the "Hottest of Hot Takes" until now.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I guess I'm different. If I invite friends to something at a certain time and you're late, yes it does affect my enjoyment of the occasion because the purpose of the invite was to hang out with that particular group of friends.
This is why I don't let it bother me when those guys tend to be the ones upset that certain friends are closer than others.
Well, if your *** got here on time, you wouldn't have missed the 45 minutes of bonding time I had with the other friend we share."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The overuse/misuse of the word "trolling".
Let's get this straight. Trolling is deliberate. You are only a troll if you have intentions of being a troll, with the sole purpose of provoking emotional responses from people.
Glad to clear that up
Another gear grinder for me is when people on the internet tell other people on the internet to "calm down/relax". Sometimes they might be right, but there is such a thing as being passionate AND calm. Oftentimes, passion is confused with anger. There is a difference.
This needs to be the header in the NBA forum.Comment

So if calling someone a douchebag or douche goes away in a year or two (can only dream) then it was a trend but it really wasn't a trend because it's been around for several years. What?
