One of my coworkers has, over the course of this year, become one of my best friends in the world. Lately we've taken to talking to each other on Facebook almost constantly. I think yesterday I sent her something stupid at like 3pm and I don't think we stopped talking until 3am. And every day for the last week has been pretty much like that.

So naturally my roommates are constantly giving me **** about dating her and "GET ON THAT BRO!" and whatnot. If I try to explain to them that it's not like that, it goes in one ear and out the other and they just go right back to it. She's been in a relationship for 8 years with someone she met in high school and for once my brain is able to successfully process that and not catch feelings. We'll see how long that lasts, but so far so good.

It's annoying. Stuff like that pops up occasionally and reminds me how much older I am than them. Not that 5 years in the grand scheme is a lot, but the difference between 25 and 20 is pretty stark.
Sounds like the start of a movie.

One of two things will now happen:

      1) She will announce she is getting married, and instantly you will fall in love with her. With both comedic and touching actions, you manage to force them to break up and you get to kiss the girl. The future from there is not known.

      2) She will fall in love WITH you, you will break her heart. She inevitably does marry this guy, who turns out to be a total douche canoe. Something will bring you close together, but you will shockingly die. Extra points if you donate an organ to her sick son/daughter or something.

      Prepare accordingly, Jesse.

Guy at Subway who is real cheap. I asked for a sub with certain things in it, and he does make it like that, but gives me very minimal stuff inside. So it's like 1 small piece of everything and that's really it. So I ask if I could get more since there's like nothing in it, then he's like "That'll cost you extra".......How is it extra? He put almost nothing in it and then charges more than he's supposed to, in order to get something that's a fixed price all over in other subways? Every other subway place I've been to fills up/stuffs the sub with what you order, this place basically gives you bread with small pieces of what you order.

Safe to say, I'm never going back there, which sucks though cause it's closest one to me since it just opened up. The guy himself seemed like a real sketchy type of person, and the store is empty most of the time too(even during lunch), so guessing that specific store has a bad rep already.

          Speaking of Subway...

I have been twice in the past 3 months, both times the person in front of me has ordered a meatball sub and asked for Mayo on it.

WHAT ON EARTH?!?! I had to resist the urge to escort them out of the building. I love mayo, love it. But mayo, meatballs, and marinara all on the same sandwich? They should revoke your sandwich ordering privileges and require a breath test before you start your car BECAUSE YOU SIRS ARE DRUNK.

Dude probably kills it on his food cost numbers. Which can be tied to bonus for management. Most hourly employees don't care for that stuff, unless management is getting squeezed by their district managers/corporate thus getting on them for giving out more then the appropriate portions. Or if he's over portioned stuff earlier in the week or month, he's trying to make up for it now.

Usually not a parm though....just a meatball sandwich from leftover spaghetti and meatball dinner.

Yes, this! When there is Which Wich, Jimmy John's, McAllister's, Potbelly, and local shops around, Subway is just awful.

Fans being asked to change or remove their clothing at a sporting event.

Good for the "Marlins Man" for refusing to budge from his front-row World Series seat or take off his orange jersey.

They shouldn't be asked to remove anything, but it does seem stupid either way when you see a fan at a game, wearing the jersey of a team that isn't even part of that game.

Listening to teenage girls talk is PAINFUL.

"Like seriously, blah blah blah like for real, blah blah blah, like seriouslyyyy, furreal, like, seriously blah blah blah, like honestlyyy..."

With an upward inflection on every "seriously".

edit: and instantly after I posted this, I realized that my last post ended with "Like, wtf?"

                              But it's different!
