One word text messages are fine by me, but one letter texts? That's when I know I'm in the doghouse.Comment

EA had someone cover Phil Collins's "In the Air Tonight" for one of the Dead Space games and some movie covered Pink Floyd's "Shine on you Crazy Diamond". Sacrilege I tell you.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Lazy ****ing people at work.
Sometimes I get it, we're not robots, and don't get me wrong, I'm guilty of it too at times. But there's times like tonight where you just have to think/ask "What the **** are you doing?"
I'm helping doing renovations at a Walmart away from home. Tonight we were moving the furniture aisle around. The last hour and a half was spent with me basically single handedly loading up empty pallets with furniture displays while this one ******* is trying to pretend to look busy by scraping the dirty floor WITH THE BACK END OF A HAMMER, sweeping the floor while I'm still trying to rearrange pallets (not only that but not even sweeping properly, and at times sweeping right at my feet while I'm working), and just generally being a useless idiot. Here I am loading up entire desks and bookcases on my own and the one time he decides to help out is when I'm piling bean bag chairs. ****ing bean bag chairs.
I bit my tongue the entire time -- how I don't know -- because I'm going to have to work with the guy for the next 3 months and it's still his first week but jesus christ, come on, man.
What gets me is the guy has probably 20 years on me, give or take and he looks like he would know what he's doing. Apparently not.
I'm just glad the rest of our crew (which is only 3 other guys lol) noticed because that was some bull****.Last edited by BlueNGold; 10-23-2014, 09:38 AM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Interesting that you chose to bite your tongue knowing that you have to continue working with this guy for 3 months. You're probably just reinforcing his behavior by not saying anything, because he probably thinks no one notices.
Hopefully he figures it out and pitches in sometime soonComment

I love my dogs, however, when the little on gets in a mode of licking it drives me insane. We have a pitt and chihuahua. The pitt will be laying there trying to sleep and the little one will just lick the pitt. Areas: ear, head, face, leg, just randoms spots.
The licking noise instantly raises blood pressure by 25%
Also when they scavenge around the house and sniff around like they are never fed

When you are watching old re-runs and they show like four or five in a row but the last episode is a "To be Continued" and the conclusion doesn't air for another week.:

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate waking up less than an hour before the time I actually do need to wake up(meaning anywhere from like 30-60 minutes before the time I need to wake up for). Don't want to fall back to sleep in the off chance I don't get back up in time, but don't really want to stay awake since it'd feel like I'm losing sleep/will be tired during the day.Last edited by Majingir; 10-24-2014, 09:41 AM.Comment

What really killed me though is what he said to me the next night. "Hard work last night, eh?".
