Thankfully, this hasn't hit in CO yet. When it does, I'll be switching to CenturyLink or Verizon FiosComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't think people realize how much data they actually use online. I stream baseball games nightly, do occasional online gaming, download software, etc. I have a 350 GB cap. I've never gone over. I've come close some months, but never over. If you are getting some piddly cap like 100 GB, I think you might be screwed. If it is 300+? I don't think I'd worry about it unless you are doing way, WAY too much streaming. Like I said, I'm usually doing 3+ hours a day and still don't go over; just 170 last month and currently on pace for 280 this next period, but I streamed over 2 games yesterday so was expected.Comment

How much data the facebook app uses on my phone. I only get 2GB a month and I go over every single freakin month . Thats why I log off now every time I am not using the app but I still think it probably sucks up a lot of data

I can keep myself to a cap if need be, but I'm just not a fan of being caped when the network can support the data, especially when they just want more money to uncap you.Last edited by LambertandHam; 10-04-2015, 02:47 PM.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Do you have the "auto play videos" setting set to off? If not, that could be your problem since if its auto playing videos on your newsfeed or where ever, that'll eat up data.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Also if you have an iPhone there is a new setting with iOS 9 that puts you to 3G/LTE if the wifi you're on is not that strong.
Here is a link to the story about it. http://www.wired.com/2015/10/a-new-i...cellular-data/Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Do you just leave Netflix on 24/7? I've fallen asleep with a baseball game, or movie, or WWE Network, something like that streaming and still my max was 335. Or do you have 3 or 4 people all doing this?Comment

I don't like my new building but I was very excited when PNC got us out of that building. Waiting for the elevators got so old over time.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This month will be low because we've been out of the apartment for 2 weeks, but we chew through data.
Most of it comes from rotating games on hard drives though. 10-50 GB a pop isn't hard to do in an hour or two.badComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When people say "ice hockey". I know there's more than 1 type of hockey, but saying ice hockey sounds kinda off to me. Not like hockey on ice is an unusual thing, or a new thing or anything like that.
To me, just sounds like the people who say "ice hockey" really don't know the sport so much. Regular hockey people obviously will just call it hockey. It'd be like people in USA/Canada referring to NFL as "American football". Just saying football,we obviously know what you mean.Comment

Insecure males.
Ex girlfriend from 8 years ago recently sent me a friend request on FB. I learned she just had a baby, I shoot her a harmless message simply saying congrats.
She says thank you and I reply you welcome, nothing more nothing less. A day later I get a message from her boyfriend stating who are you and you welcome for what?
Like seriously dude, if you have trust issues and feel the need to check your spouse social media account at least read the whole conversation first.Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment
