Well for contacts, it doesn't relate the same. You said prescription, which to me is the original document where the doctor says "Yes, this is what you can have/need/etc." and those usually have a limited lifespan of several months.

But the pill bottle you have, you can't just take it in. It will state on it how many refills you get and for how long. You usually can't get more than a couple of refills on the original prescription and they will only last for so long. For contacts, I'd imagine part of it is to get you to come back in, but at the same time, someone shouldn't continue wearing something that may or may be the right prescription any longer. It's the doctor erring on the side of caution so someone doesn't continually wear the same contacts for 10 years that may or may not be doing what they should any longer.

I get it...yet it doesn't bug me cause I always have vision insurance, so I just get my eyes checked again.

I have to go soon so I can get new glasses and sunglasses for the summer. Love prescription sunglasses...

Hate how much all that ends up costing me, even when I go cheaper at Target...

        Maybe it's just me...

It annoys me to see gasoline dripping from the nozzle after I've waited to take it out of the gas tank.

Lift the hose above the handle after the pump stops. That allows for any excess gas to get in your tank instead of staying in the hose, then dripping out when you remove the handle.

Getting sick during weekdays. Weekends you can stay home and all and get better, but weekdays you still have to do your normal stuff. And cant really take nightime medicine cause it makes you so tired when you wake up/you might oversleep too.

If its real bad then sure, take a sick day,but if its not so bad,you dont want to waste a day off on something you can fight through, but then go all day feeling horrible.

So you'd rather be sick when you have free time?

Ya. Easier and faster to recover. And you're at least at home for multiple days so anything you need is all right there, and you dont got to be sick around lots other people.

Are you not able to take sick time?

Because one of my biggest peeves is people coming to work sick.

I somehow work better when I'm sick. I get really annoyed at being sick and actually end up focusing better on accomplishing stuff.

Ya,but there's always people who want to save sick days to just take it during the year if they want a long weekend or something.

If you're too sick to go to work then obviously take it off,but something like a head cold, people typically just want to fight through it instead of taking a whole day off, cause you dont know if you might feel fine by time you wake up, and feel like you took a day off for nothing(since some places do require calling the night before if you call in sick)

I always know when someone has done this.

The next person comes in and says the pump pumped several odd cents before they got the first drop. It's like yeah, the person before you drained the hose. The pump charges you as soon as the gas leaves the pump, not when it comes out the nozzle.

Anything contagious - its better to be safe than sorry.

Head colds really depends on the severity. If you sound/look like **** you should stay home. Nobody wants to listen to you whistle through your nose all day long or hear you talk like you've got water in your lungs.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

My work has sick days, but it's been known that it is kind of "Looked down" upon by Management if you use them. They feel that anything less than a limb being severed off and you need to "tough" it up and work through it. (which I strongly disagree with)

but it leads to people coming in and working sick by being guilted into it. Which leads to others getting sick, and soon the whole work place is sick pretty much.

Thankfully I've had really good health this past year. I have called out due to snow but it was this recent snowstorm where only 4 employees came to work, and they closed by 11 Am.
