Power outage at night when you gotta get up early the next morning is the worst. I'm "old fashion" and still use a digital alarm clock(I flat out can't sleep or go back to sleep not knowing the time so I need a clock) , so if power is out, that messes me up. Thankfully nighttime outages rarely ever happen though.

Lots of memories of listening to local radio when power was out at night from hurricanes.

          WTH?

Same token, when UPS damages a package in transit, but turns around and tries to convince you that it somehow is your fault.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I assume is got tossed onto the wrong truck. Actually surprised this doesn't happen more often.

Same week I had a package arrive completely torn up with contents missing. Luckily it was a super cheap promo item (GolferAid) and they were happy to send out a new batch of it.

Sports Hecklers... Sat in the wrigley field bleachers today for the first time. Group of 5 people that were behind us were just being obnoxious to be obnoxious. They wouldn't shut up at all, and were so damn loud. Other family had issues with them as well so I know it wasn't just me. I finally told one of the dudes to stfu in the 8th.

As a Chicagoan who has probably gone to 15 games at wrigley, I can safely say I'm never sitting in the bleachers again. They ruined great seats and a Bryant 2hr game.

On that note (and this used to apply to Cubs fans a lot)...

Fans who are completely uneducated about the league outside of their team(s). This can go a lot of different ways, but I'm normally the go-to person when everybody asks me about a player that the Giants sign or trade for, and I'll give my in-depth scouting report. I'm actually completely fine with this, because I like that they trust my word.

When things go as expected, they seem to settle just fine. When things go awry (re: Melancon), I don't hear the end of it. I told them before and I'll tell them again... if Melancon is underperforming, it is likely he's unhealthy. As it turns out, he has returned to the DL with a pronator strain.

Anyway, there are others with that, but I really just don't like when fans act as if other teams outside of their own bubble aren't good or don't deserve the limelight in any sort of way. Many of my friends are shocked when I say things like the number of Dodgers players that I like.

Another small bit is when the AS teams get selected, and when I went out and said that Chooch deserved the starting spot over Posey a few years back. I mean he did, there are no two bones about it. SF locals don't even know who the guy is, much less watch him perform during the year. I understand hometown bias, but hometown ignorance is much worse.

So to clarify, it's okay if you can't spend all day watching the sport in all, or if you don't want to. But don't go off being an absurdity (like those Cubs fans, unless they were just drunk) as a result of it. Heckling is really only done for two reasons: as a defense mechanism against good players, or because you really just don't know anything about them. Because the Cubs won, it sounds like it's the latter.

I'm probably the only non-bitter Giants fan out there haha. I'll gladly watch all of their games, even if they're down by 14 runs (unless I already know the outcome).

That's not to say I'm okay with them losing, but they have not lost me as a viewer or change my opinion of them as I watch them.

Biting into a chocolate and then finding out it has strawberry cream and/or coconut in it.

Way to ruin chocolates. Even when people give those tins of chocolates for Christmas, there's always a fair amount of those types of chocolates too. I like things like strawberries and coconuts by themselves, but putting it in chocolate like that...it's gross.

Say I'm trying to change lanes, and the person in that lane speeds up like, "Nope." Then once he/she passes you, you find out their ultimate goal was just to change into your lane anyway.

Why didn't we switch when you were behind me and there was room?

I feel like there people out there who have some sort of a self-esteem issue that they won't allow you to move ahead of them unless you are doing 85+. Same people who will zig zag between lanes just to get by one car, and then we all end up at a traffic light together.

Also, same people who zoom by everyone doing 80 in the slow/exit lane just to prevent anyone from passing them on the right. Because their ego can't deal with someone coming up behind them and making them change lanes.

I'm guessing it's people who stand at store entrances soliciting donations for some charity and who give some sort of pitch to everyone who walks by trying to make them feel bad if they don't donate.
