People walking around in shorts when it is 10 degrees out. They feel the need to wear a carhartt jacket but no pants, not impressed.

It is quite a few people in my town who are wearing shorts, flip flops and a t shirt right now. Some sort of medical condition they have where their body simply don't feel cold.

I was at the gas station this morning (its 8 degrees here) and a guy was in a t-shirt and shorts complaining about being cold. I'm just like....
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I think that's called frostbite lol

On the topic of the way people dress this time of the year, I know people who have spent 4 digits on a winter jacket. They're not alone. Lots of people buy these types of expensive things.

If I win the lottery tomorrow, I'm not gonna even think about buying a winter jacket that costs so much. I seriously see no real value other than making a prestige/fashion statement to those around you. A few hundred dollars at most gets you great winter jackets basically made to withstand the temperatures as cold as it'd be if you were on a mountain skiing. Do you really need anything better than that for everyday life? Even those huge ski jackets are pushing it at times when going around the city in the winter.

Some people just love spending their money "because they can". It's nice that people can afford to spend so much on stuff and not have it burn a hole in their wallet, but there's a difference in spending money because you can, and spending money wisely.

When my dishwashing sink seems plugged, but somehow the water happens to slowly seep out.

When I get a new Blu-ray for my library, and then to maintain alphanumeric order I have to shift one or two cases down another shelf, for every shelf until the bottom (it actually feels good to do knowing the ol' collection is growing, but I just like griping about it).

Just an example because it's on my mind, but the fact that J.K. Simmons and Zack Galifinakis are in the opening credits billing of Up In the Air despite their roles basically being short cameo appearances, and other actors/actresses have more prominent roles but do not appear at the top. Many other movies do this as well.

Want to raise my blood pressure? All it would take is some combined Capital One/GEICO product being pitched in a series of ridiculous, oversaturated commercials that have absolutely nothing to do with that product.

lol ya, stores get stuff up ASAP. I've seen Christmas trees selling in September, Halloween section already taken down on Halloween day itself(in favor of Christmas stuff), and last week I saw so many Valentines day stuff already out in stores.
