Mysterious package? You gotta open that up right away posthaste. In case it's nails or talcum powder someone else is waiting for.

When I worked for an online business, we used USPS which usually just handed off to the destination country’s major postal service. That would be Canada Post for Canadians.

You would think the relationship between the US & Canada would extend to their postal services, but Canadian orders always gave me the most headaches. When they told me a package was irrevocably lost... then it shows up, of course shortly after a replacement has been shipped or already delivered. Our customers were usually really great and our items were cheap individually so the replacement wasn’t a big deal but it was frustrating that a country that is so similar to the US screwed up delivery so often when we would ship to pretty much anywhere with a better success rate. I mean, we shipped to little islands off the coast of Canada or Great Britain and it arrived on time or quicker. Addresses printed in English to places like China or Thailand that don’t even remotely resemble the native language were delivered more accurately.

this sounds like a reverse "bro code" message at the end of a How I Met Your Mother episode, maybe from Robin's perspective

It grinds my gears that the top three AFV videos that compete for the cash prize are never among the funniest in the episode. They're barely even that funny at times.

This is funny to me because the other day I came home and my wife was watching this and I said to her that the videos sucked now days. It seems like back in the day they were natural and not planned, but now they seem set up like people are trying to make them funny for the show. I mean some are still funny and not staged obviously, but it seems like more and more are. And you're right, the final three are never the funniest.

Do they still do AFV? Reading comments from FB, it's like apparently a crime to laugh at anything.

I think they show it still. I was watching an American Idol recording and it was coming up afterward, but I don't know if they're reruns or what. I'm just think about the show of old whose $20,000 nominees were only about 1/10th the hilarity of some of the other clips in that episode alone.

I know those ones tend to be lengthier, but even still...

I think cold cheese on a burger would be okay, as long as it is legit cheddar and not American.

They still have afv. Alfonso Ribeiro hosts it.

Though if he ever steps down, you know they'd want Steve Harvey hosting that too. Just imagine hearing him reacting to every clip.

I like the cheese, lettuce, tomato & pickle cold, contrasts nicely with a hot burger.
I'm just not a fan of melted cheese. Love cold pepper jack cheese on my Subway.
I don't like cheese fries but I like fries, like chili dogs but don't like chili cheese dogs
and I don't want cheese on my sausage biscuit. I like cheese, but only on certain things.
The one thing I do like melted cheese with is nachos.

Usually melt cheese on the burger as it cools, then heat the bun or wrap or whatever with more cheese and whatever goop I choose to add. Forgot to nuke the second portion and my mouth was confused

I am not a fan of melted cheese on food either, unless it is pizza or nachos. Hell it took me many years to tolerate pizza. I didn't start tolerating pizza until I was around 12. Now I like pizza as an adult, along as there is no extra cheese on it. Seeing stringy goey cheese on pizza when you grab a slice just turns me off completely.

On another odd note, I didn't like ice cream until I was in high school and discovered rocky road and cookie dough ice cream. To this day, the only ice cream I will eat have to have stuff in it, be it chocolate brownies, chocolate chips or something. I have accepted long ago that I am just odd person. I don't like fish, milk, soul food, chicken, hot dogs, beans or peas. The chicken thing throws everybody off, they look at me and I can read their mind saying WTF in their head. The closes thing to chicken I will eat is tenders and nuggets.
