I think their business model has run its course at this point anyway, based on recent news about the company (layoffs and what-not).Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The last two discs I rented at Redbox had playback issues.
The first one was Alita: Battle Angel last weekend, and thankfully it only had a minute-long skip and was something early in the movie, where I found the scene on YouTube and watched it afterward.
The next one, the one I'm watching right now, is Pet Sematary, and it basically froze and skipped about 70 minutes into it. I would watch the timestamp on my PS3 just skip like a minute per real-time second, so I realized it was dunzo. I called Redbox, and they issued me a free code.
At this point, I figured I couldn't make things worse than it is, so I tried the ol' disc-boiling method. Now that I'm playing it back, everything is so far, so good! Ah, I love that method.
However, I wonder if when I return the disc, they end up going: "Hey, it's playable... give us our code back!" Doubtful since everyone has different experiences for different reasons, but ah well.
I just wish others who rented would take better care of discs. It's nothing like the nightmare stories I heard about Netflix rentals in the past, and since I rent Blu-rays they likely have less issues than DVD's, but I hope this isn't a frequent occurrence regardless.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I hate it when the store doesn't have an online site. For online sites, who cares how much is left on a card because you can use multiple cards online and not really care.
Using a card in person that has like 51 cents left on it....lol. You have to go through the process of getting cashier to swipe that card, then you might have another card, and after that you might still need to pay some cash. Way to hold up the line.Comment

Who cares about the line? It doesn't take that long to pay with multiple cards man.

I pay with multiple gift cards quite often (we get them as bonus incentives at work) and never have I felt, nor has anyone behind me complained, as though I'm holding up the line behind me.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This time of year being asked if I play Fantasy Football and the look of disgust on the person's face when I tell them no because I don't follow the NFL.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I love having my feed filled with people in five different fantasy leagues posting their draft from each one (separately) and asking for suggestions.
