Having legitimate journalism in America is still really important and sometimes it's the only thing holding the people who are responsible for our livelihood accountable.

(I think I tip toed around this responsibly for OS)

Another problem I see is local news stations are trying to cram 50 topics into a 30 minute window so they only cover a few points about anything before moving on. They either don't clarify what they are saying or give one side and move on so your grandmother who only reads the local paper and watches the 5am and 5pm news doesn't get the full story.

TV is to news what Famous Daves is to BBQ.

TV is pleasant. I watch some TV. It is NOT where you go for the real stuff.

I can’t express how well put this post was. So simple, so directly on point.

Don't sleep on Famous Dave's cajun chicken samich. Very solid!

Speaking of food, I love to cook and I'm not above following recipes but damn, these cooking websites are worse than British soccer websites when it comes to pop-ups and embedded videos.

Absolutely the worst. I don't need a narrative with the recipe. These mom blogs are insane.

Yeah all I need is the directions and a picture of what the finished product looks like.

I hate going to a variety store for one or two items and getting stuck in line behind some dude cashing his lottery picks and picking new ones. It happened on the weekend and the guy bought quick picks, won on the new picks, put the money back into new selections, won a little bit again, picked new lottery quick picks, etc. I endured this for like three minutes and I almost lost it. You think the dude would step aside for two seconds so I can complete my purchase.

Every single time I go to CVS for one or two items I always get stuck behind someone doing their weekly shopping and they have coupons for every item (inevitably, a couple of them aren’t working right).

Also, the CVS receipts when you buy just one thing are like a mile long.

I always, always will let people go in front of me that have a handful of items and I have a cart full. It can be one or ten of you... as long as I have nothing else going on at that exact moment, in the end it’s both the nice and right thing to do.

If they let me do my purchase first otherwise, then great. The least I can do is offer.

I absolutely can't stand this new trend of people saying, "This didn't age well."

                            It's so stupid.
