My desktop being down for any amount of time, this must be what Superman feels like in the absence of a yellow sun.

Sales on games where the price is pushed higher just before the sale or the discount only lowers the game to what other retailers have it for standard.

People who treat retail workers and/or servers poorly or are ****ty tippers. That's a real good way to determine if a person you've met is worth more of your time and energy. The first time you embarrass me at a restaurant or bar is the last.

Tipping is becoming more and more of a gear grinder for me. The Amazon delivery driver is asking for a tip, the guy who takes my 3 glazed donuts and puts them in a bag is asking for a tip, it's just too much. I don't know if I'm tipping for good service or to make up for lost wages, now with stuff like Doordash I don't even know if the tip is going to the person I want it to. It's just a mess all around.

I think the tip jars you see at coffee/donut or subway places are more about being extra generous, and whether you leave something or not it's not a big deal. Just my opinion.

Restaurants are different to me because you have to deal with public, clean up their mess, combined with dealing with disorganized kitchen chaos that guests never see. I worked as a server for like 2 years back in college, and I swear it took 10 years off my life. I literally had tension headaches regularly for years because of the stress. I'll always tip generously lol.

Counter tips are all about context to me. If there's a crowd, the crew is busting their butts, and they're getting the people through I'll throw them some money their way for the effort.

Happy hours that don't start until 4pm. Why can't they all just start at like 2 or 3 after the lunch crowd is gone?

I know at least here in PA you only get so much "happy hour" time your allowed to use. In some cases is per day, some per week. I don't exactly know the specifics but you can't just have 7 hours of happy hour in a day.

Granted, that's here in PA and I know every states has weird laws and I was in Texas once and came across one of the dumbest liquor control laws I'd ever seen though so your state may be different.

I feel weird in chain pizza places when picking up at the counter. I mean I get tipping the driver and servers, but the Pizza Hut guy just handing me pizzas?

I typically don’t tip when I pick stuff up for takeout.

I tip everywhere I go it's in my nature. My dad worked as a bellman and I worked with him summer growing up for a cruise company handling luggage and got tips.

It comes with perks, always get treated well, get free samples and good service. I like that people remember who I am and know what I like.

Speaking of tipping.... the people that round off their tips to the nearest dollar.
