I'm an Android user, and I can use any micro USB cable and it works fine. But like always, Apple does stuff which makes you forced to use the official iPhone cables rather than using a different cable you might have purchased on Amazon or elsewhere.
Proprietary adapters in general just suck. Even with how I buy HP laptops all the time, yet somehow their next model can't use the same charger or battery as their previous model ever.

On that note, it really does make me wonder whether some brand conditioner really does have "best results with [same brand] shampoo." I can think of reasons it might, but above all else it's likely just a marketing ploy.

      CW Seed.

You took away all the old seasons of Whose Line Is it Anyway. I don't care about these new seasons, I want old Drew.

      Not cool.

People who can't keep their dogs secured ... again.

There's a house in my neighborhood with two big pitbulls in their backyard. Baxter and I walk by it just about every day. Yesterday I guess the owner left the gate open because the pitbulls came running out as we walked past.

The smaller of the two - who still outweighs my dog by a good 50 pounds - kept trying to get to Baxter. And while Baxter isn't aggressive, he's going to defend himself. So it could have gotten real ugly for us. Fortunately, it didn't. I kept myself between them and yelled at the dog until he wandered off and the other one followed him.

A neighbor came out into his backyard and told me the smaller one was a "terror" and that he has told the owner he needs to keep them secure in the yard. He tried to call and text the owner while all this was going on, but no answer.

I don't really want to walk past that house again. But I also feel like I need to tell the owner he needs to get that gate secure because if I see his dogs out again I'm calling the cops.

Edit: Went over to talk with the guy today. Asked him to keep his gate locked so it wouldn't happen again. He basically told me it was out of his control and he didn't appreciate me telling him how to run his house. I told him I'd call Animal Control if it happened again and he told me to do what I needed to do. He said it wouldn’t be the first time someone called animal control on his dogs.

This is always the go-to response for these douche bags.

But it is of course under their control. They are just lazy and ****ty dog owners. And if they get offended? Good, **** you and quit dodging responsibility for making the neighborhood a worse place.

Me online: How do I fix __ on my computer.

Only reply: Google "how to fix ___" and it should have ways to do so.

No kidding...I clearly asked because I couldn't find an answer on Google which helped me, or those solutions involve registry edits or other things I'd rather not mess with.

Those people are almost as bad as the legit Amazon reviewers who are like "I'd give a higher rating but the shipping took to long" or "I don't know the answer to that question, I dont have the product"

It sucks that Yahoo Answers has been shut down, too. I found many-a-solutions to things that way.

My mouse is randomly double-clicking, and it apparently isn't being fixed by restarting my computer, unplugging the thing, changing the PC click speed settings, or blowing compressed air into it.

That was happening to me until a couple days ago, I think the Logitech software for my mouse might’ve gotten wiped out in a windows update or something.

I'm having to reinstall Windows completely. So thinking a recent update messed things up.

Reinstalling an OS is pretty close to a traumatic experience, I did it twice about 2 months ago.

I thought I lost all files on a computer last month when I started it up and everything was gone. Nothing was backed up which made it even worse. I started panicking, just randomly restarted it and suddenly everything returned. I backed up everything the moment after everything came back.

Closest I've come to reinstalling things was back when windows 8 got the free windows 10 upgrade. Luckily nothing got deleted during that changeover.
