I havent seen snow in probably 5-6 years. And haven't seen over 2-3 inches of snow on the ground since '93 when we had our only blizzard during my lifetime.

Winter weather system moving into North Carolina tonight. They say there should be 1-2 inches of snow, though they said there could be more snow as the forecast models are now predicting it arriving earlier in the night, thus giving us more snow. Around 7 a.m, it's supposed to change over to a snow/sleet mixture. Then around 9 a.m., it's supposed to change to a mix of sleet and freezing rain. They said there could be 1/8-1/4 of an inch of ice around here. Power outages are possible. It looks like it's supposed to depart in the early afternoon and possibly change over to a little plain old rain before it departs, but I hope not. I want snow!!!

And here is the forecast for the next 7 days.

Snow is overrated, and it sucks.

Heck, we used to get crappy little snowfalls everyday in West Virginia from Alberta Clippers that never amounted to anything, but I still loved it. Now that I live in North Carolina, I must take the few chances we get for snow very graciously.
