You are missing out on a crucial segment of life. Heck, when I lived in West Virginia, it would snow a little bit for like a month straight, LOL! Never big snows, and a lot of time it never stuck. They were those little Alberta Clippers.

Got snow on the ground now, maybe an inch or two. First snow in 3 years here in the deep south.

We don't have any snow, but there are patches of black ice all over campus. People are falling on their asses left and right.

I bet snow does get old. So does perfect weather, so were even.

Can't say it does. I wish we got more snow than we do.

Oh, and about that "perfect weather". How was it about 2 weeks ago? Wasn't so perfect was it?

Yeah that was bad here. It felt like a hurricane. Lucky I missed it we where at Disneyland. I like the snow, but I wouldn't like it as much if I had to shovel it every morning.

Bah, it wasn't as bad as everyone was making it out to be. Nobody out there is used to it, that's all.

That is true, but it did do some damage. The winds were stronger then we know. I do agree that is why I like living here. I do not like hurricane.

Yeah I know. My family actually got lucky. We had the winds and rain, but it wasn't bad enough to hurt anything. Nothing like the million or so PG&E customers that were without power.

I'll tell you this much, man. People in LA really overblow even the slightest drizzle, which is irritating for me since I'm not from there and I've seen crazy weather elsewhere. That said, I have to say that I have not seen anything like that in at least 8 years. That was a heavy duty storm on that Friday. It was even worse in NorCal...

For real. It still amazes me. Seeing people act like it's a tsunami and it's just a few drops of rain.

I love how whenever there is a storm or they're expecting one, they have to have a news anchor and have live look-ins at the salt storage facility. They really do love dramatizing everything.

Yea some people loose their minds at the first sign of snow. We got 3 inches or so last night, nothin to make the roads bad but I'm late for work today because someone thinks its bad enough to drive 25mph. I could see this in a place where snow isn't common but I live in Iowa, you think they'd be used to it.

Well, we got about an inch of snow this morning. It has changed over to freezing rain now and is freezing on tree limbs. The roads are fine for the most part. Oh no, if I lose power, I'll lose contact with OS!!! What will I do!
