Every single person in that train station should have piled on that officer and beat him to a bloody pulp.

Edit: It should be known the people of Greece went into riots over the same type of situation. This happens on a daily basis in this country, and we sit here on our hands. It makes me want to ****ing puke.

I was down in the Bay last week. Its all over the place. Its going to blow up pretty soon to a national story... Hopefully this starts getting more attention.

He'll get what he deserves, but come on man, there's no reason to insult all police officers. The amount of "good cops" FAR outnumbers the amount of "bad cops."

I'd be more accepting if the "bad cops" were actually punished.

Unfortunately, they don't. This guy should be booked on Murder 1 charges and have his name plastered everywhere. He should get life in prison, if not the death penalty. He'll get manslaughter and 4 years.

Did I say that there was a good cop in that video?

All I'm saying is that you making such harsh generalizations about all police officers because of videos like this (yes, I agree that this guy was in the wrong, and should get the book thrown at him) and your biased opinion, is stupid.

What makes my opinion any more biased than any one else's? Because my opinion of cops is negative, and yours is positive?

Unless you can back your opinion up with statistics, both our opinions are just that...opinions. I personally think the majority of cops are in it for the thrills, and abuse their power on a regular basis. I'm not saying there aren't good cops, that would be foolish. I am merely saying the majority aren't in the business to "serve and protect." They might think they're helping, but when you've got 1% of the population in prison, how am I supposed to believe "serving and protection" is on their mind?

Unless you want to say that 1% of our population are dastardly people who should be in prison. But if that's the case, we've got a much bigger problem on our hands than dirty cops. We've got to figure out why people are so dastardly and vile that the cops, citizens, and government would want them to be in prison. 1% is a hell of a lot of people.

Oh, and no using the Nuremberg Defense. "Just following orders" doesn't cut it. Didn't work for the Nazi's, it's not working for american police officers. Unless you are willing to say the Nazi's weren't in the wrong for what they did...it was their job after all.

Yes, I did go off an a tangent there. But when I see this type of action from the people who are supposed to protect us, it infuriates me.
