I've had them all. You can buy all 6-8 variates (depending on the season) at pretty much any corner store in town. I even go eat dinner at the brewery a few times a year. Their menu is surprisingly pretty vegetarian friendly which is a plus. I'll give you a rundown of my thoughts on all of their brews.
Year round brews:
Dortmunder Gold Lager: this is their flagship beer but I cannot stand it. In a word, I find it "boring" to say the least. It is sweet yet hoppy and just gets confusing on the pallet. 4/10
Burning River Pale Ale: very hoppy considering the low ABV and has one of the best aftertastes ever. I am satisfied with either one of these with dinner or six of them in a session. 8/10
Elliot Ness Amber Lager: a decent brew in the bottle but light years better on tap. This one is just above average to me but is my girlfriend's favorite. Very good with food. 6/10
Edmund Fitzgerald Porter: I am not the biggest fan of porters but this is by far the best one I have ever had and considered their best beer by many. This is as good as it gets from GLB. 9/10
Commodore Perry IPA: not bad, but IPA is my favorite style of beer and I have had fifty brews I prefer over this one. I have tried and tried to really enjoy it but I just can't for some reason. 5/10
Seasonal six packs:
Conway's Irish Ale: this was my daily brew while it was in season a year and a half ago and I got burned out on it. It's really good, but don't mix it with hard liquor or you'll puke! 7/10
Grassroots Ale: this is their subpar replacement for the formerly awesome brew called Holy Moses. This one is just okay, but the Holy Moses was great. I miss Holy Moses. 6/10
Oktoberfest: I'm not the biggest fan of this one, but have only had it 2-3 times. Just based on what I can remember of it though it is not something I would buy again. 5/10
Christmas Ale: this is the best winter warmer in the world, bar none. I would take this beer over anything when it is winter time. It doesn't hold up well in the summer months though. 10/10 in winter. 7/10 otherwise.
Seasonal four packs:
Blackout Stout: this stuff is potent yet fairly easy to drink. I love stouts and this one is no disappointment for a Russian imperial. Very good with chocolate or other heavy desserts. 8/10
Glockenspiel: basically their version of an Aventinus. Not as good as Aventinus, but not too shabby either. I only had it once so far, but will definitely try it again soon. 7/10
Nosferatu: this is in season right now and pours a gorgeous blood red color and has a very unique taste and feel. Quite simply, there is nothing else I can compare this to. 8/10
That sums them all up in short. There are many other brews they make but you can only get on tap at the brew pub. I'll spare you my thoughts on those for now though.
