Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Had an Elysian Brewing Avatar Jasmine IPA last night... very good beer. The jasmine notes are really unique and went well with the citrusy/bitter hops taste of the beer itself. No amazing IPA nose, but it had a wonderful velvety head and was a pleasure to drink. I'd give it an 8/10.
Picked up a special Windmer Brothers Cherry Oak Dopplebock too... I'll report back on that one. Love it when small-batch/special beers are on sale, it was only $5.99 or something.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Had some Stone Ruination IPA this weekend. FANTASTIC!!!
The nose on this IPA is just crazy good. You pop a bottle and before you even start pouring the aroma just is powerful.
Taste is extremely hoppy but still very balanced at the end. With 135 IBUs you kind of expect it to be very hoppy but it has a nice smooth quality also.
Top notch A+ IPA!!!!!!!

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Yeah that Ruination is crazy.
I saw that Bourbn County at my store and wanted to try it out. Seeing that it's paired with flourless chocolate cake makes me want to pick it up more... I make those on the regular. I think it's time for a trip to the store for more special winter beers... love when the seasons change and all these new (or old and just seasonal) beers come out.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment
