I enjoyed it. Had a nice head and good color, though the head disappeared quickly. Very pleasant taste, easy to drink. Biggest complaint would be that it was a bit over-carbonated.

Are there any winter beers that aren't really bitter? I want something really vanilla-y and cinnamon-y. Something sweet but heavy.

The nose on this IPA is just crazy good. You pop a bottle and before you even start pouring the aroma just is powerful.

Taste is extremely hoppy but still very balanced at the end. With 135 IBUs you kind of expect it to be very hoppy but it has a nice smooth quality also.

        Top notch A+ IPA!!!!!!!

Enjoying a Sam Adams Winter Lager out of my Tampa Bay Bucs mug right now.

Good beer. I was expecting it to be incredibly thick and bitter but it's only a tad heavier than their Boston Lager and not really bitter. The cinnamon and ginger set it off nicely.

I went to a beer market today and saw some crazy **** but I was scared to pull the trigger on some stuff. I saw a four-pack of some crazy Dogfish Head (Marron something?) one but I didn't want to buy it without trying it first. They had a ton of stuff. I just got three hefs.

I doubt you'd be able to find Great Lakes in LA. They limit their distribution to 9 states.
