Uncle's a big wine guy, his friend said that Hill Farmstead Brewery in VT is probably the best brewery in the country.

Anyone ever heard about/had their beer? Looked at their BA, looked pretty damn good. They don't ship out to CA though. Inquired via email to see if they could UPS some stuff to us for our Easter dinner.

Surly still rules, and I'm currently in the process of drinking Summit EPA so I can use the bottles to brew my on Irish Stout. I'm sure it will suck, but it was a gift from the wife, so I have to try it, LOL.

Did anyone get their Nugget Nectar fix this spring? I bought a case, but it didn't last long. Fortunately, my buddy was in Harrisburg for work and stopped by the Troegs brewery in Hershey. He left with two sixers of Nugget Nectar and one each of Java Head, Hopback Amber, and a "scratch" lager (very limited brew I guess).

Did I forget to say this is all for our camping trip this weekend?

was in san diego and carlsbad this weekend for a wedding. Had some nice beers from CA breweries that aren't available here.

Two that stood out for me are (keep in mind I am definitely NOT a hophead!)

Found out my local Brookshires does a create your own 6 pack thing.

Heineken, Red Stripe, Moose Drool, Santo, Lawnmower, Buffalo Butt.

Had never had Heineken or Red Stripe. The 3/4 of the others were brewed in Texas so and the last had cool labeling. Had the Santo last night. Tasted like Shiner.

Carlsberg is much better than Heineken IMO. I love it when I'm in the mood for that type of taste.
