That's because you haven't tasted fresh Surly Furious.

Let's go Surly *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*

Wow I disagree with most of the pairings that I know... an excuse to give some another try (and taste some new ones). Good stuff.

Or the 120 minute but the 90 min is the best imo

Walk into my store after work, and they immediately go to grab the sample that I always accept on Friday after work (maybe I go there too often ). Anyway, it happens to be Great Lakes Alchemy Hour Double IPA. First time it's been available here that I've seen anyway.

Got a 4-pack of that, and of course, the standard Furious buy.

Again, they aren't using any doubles or imperials.

Created my own 6 pack the other day, and figured I would try a Reds Apple Ale....ugh...gross...why would anyone drink that crap....I quickly poured it down the drain and intravenously hooked myself up to 600ccs of Harps Lager.

Yeah, I don't get the appeal of stuff like that at all. I'm sure there is a market for it and all, but it just isn't for me. It seems like the kind of person who would enjoy that was one of the folks buying up all the Tequiza (remember that swill?) many years ago!

Ol faithful saved me. Was feeling a cold coming on and had a nice tall bottle of this beauty. More iron than a thermometer. Feel fit as a fiddle today.

Lake Erie Monster is fantastic, but ALL smoked beers are nasty as ****.

Just starting to get into craft beer and the first two I've bought are Red Hook's Audible Ale and Bell's Lager Of The Lakes. Both are pretty good but I want to try Bell's Hopslam but I've heard it's not available anymore.

It's only available from late fall until the end of winter, since it is a seasonal brew.

I've been on a Flying Dog and Heavy Seas kick lately. I like Raging Bitch and Loose Cannon, though I'm working on expanding my horizons.
