Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
My roommate got a few 6 packs from his uncle for graduating; I just had a couple Bass IPA's, they were pretty solid. I generally am not an IPA fan, but this one was not as bitter of an aftertaste as other IPA's I've had. Great flavor.
I had two of those, and then had a Busch Light that was leftover in the fridge. After drinking those Bass IPA's, the Busch was like water. It was literally just like drinking a can of water, haha.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Had my first of these two beers tonight:
Bell's Two Hearted Ale
Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum Imperial IPA
The Two Hearted Ale was awesome and so was the Hoptimum but I hated the after taste you had in your mouth after it.The Ohio State University

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
I've said it a million times over but I like Bud Light.
I know this might be a beer snob thread (not saying that in a negative light)... I've tried different types. Dark, IPA's, etc... Can't stand them. Maybe it's just an acquired taste, but the after taste makes me want to punch myself in the face.
Probably don't drink beer enough, anyway. I've always just liked the simple stuff sold in the cooler at Wal Mart.
Someone needs to save me, judging my this thread. Because I could be missing out big time.Comment

You're right, though. There's probably no saving me... But, at least I'm willing to try.Comment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Ah, I'm gonna go there... What the hell.
I quit drinking for quite a while, but when my dad died, it obviously rocked me to my core. So, when I do drink, it is for one purpose and one purpose only.
It's cheap and they go down fast. I don't have a problem, but I would say on average, about once every two weeks or more, I am buying a 12 pack with one sole intention, and sipping on beer is not what I'm after.
Not to bring an emotional twist to this thread, but it does help explain why I might not have a 'sophisticated palate,' 55.
But like I said; willing to learn, bud.Comment
