Part of me wants to try this P90X, but then I still like to eat all that bad food. So I think I am done with working out. Now I am concentrating on getting up to 220lbs of solid fat! I am only 185 now, so it will take some real dedications.

I just cut my second go through of p90x short by 3 weeks. I ordered Insanity and am going to go through the 60 days of it, then 1 more go through of p90x after that, should set me up perfectly for beach season.

Good stuff...Never give up. Think of any negative thing anyone has said to you and apply that to motivation. Be untouchable...Kick some arse.

Just an update.

I was 5'9 226 lbs

I am now...

5'9 206

I lost 20lbs in fat in 3 months...I could of lost more but I gained A LOT of muscle. You all can do it to! Takes hard work and dedication...My quest for a perfect body is definitely not over...But it's getting closer.

EDIT: I admit that I was crying after I weighed myself...This has been very emotional for me. I was a borderline alcoholic I also admit I had no job...No good friends...And no future what's so ever. I now work full time and I made a lot of friends at the gym...And the lady situation has gotten a lot better. As most of you know when you work out you get confidence, and I notice a lot of girls checking me out and smiling. It feels so good. If you arent in this yet and you are depressed...Make the choice now and just DO IT! a few months from now you will feel relieved.

It takes a man to admit things like that. I'm so happy for you. I hope you continue to get the results you want and deserve in the P90 program and in your life. Congrats. That's a damn good story to hear. It motivates me to hear stories like yours, you sound happy and that's AWESOME.

Well anything that motivates somebody else motivates me even more. Thank you for the kind words, but there are people like me all over. Anything is possible if you give it 110% (BTW I didnt use the P90x thing but Im sure it works)

If I can do it...You certainly can. What I want you to do is take a good look in the mirror...Picture yourself in 10, 20, 30 years from now. What do you see? Will you make it to 60? There is a lot of things we all cannot prevent, but living a longer healthier life is something we can choose. Why not do it you know? Of course it's hard in the begining, but you will find yourself a few months from now...Feeling as if you saved your own life. If you are depressed...I gurantee this will make you a happy person.

3-5 months down the road...Look in the mirror again and smile (And get the ladies )

Damn i fell off the diet/alcohol ban wagon on the weekend pretty badly . Had some friends over and ended up staying up to 5am drinking. Didn't eat anything too bad but that many beers etc can't be good for me and i felt like crap the whole of the next day.

Back into hardcore today.

1 day down, 89 to go.

I started the program this morning and loved the first workout. I struggled as expected.I had to do knee pushups for most of it to get enough reps in. I used bands for the pullup exercises because I don't have a bar and couldn't do more than a few pullups even if I did.

I'm not following the diet as strictly as the program, although I am making some drastic changes. I'm cutting out a lot of carbs and adding more fruits and veggies but not cutting carbs to the extreme they do. I need a diet that's a little more realistic for me and is something I can maintain after the program is over.

I started again today too. I won't lie, I kinda tailed off the last couple weeks due to it being the holidays, exam week, and me having irregular sleeping patterns during then. Christmas break hit and I was away for a month and now I'm back outta shape.

I've got my roommate doing it too and he was dead about 10 minutes in today lol. I felt like I was gonna puke.

Do you guys use the supplements? I bought them once (and they're too effing expensive) but I feel like my body really needs them. I made a lot of progress in the first month with the power bars, recovery drink, and vitamins. But after that the progress slowed down, not sure if that's due to the diet changing too as well as the workouts or if the supps really had that big of an impact on me.

I'm also planning to restart today after a month of hell. Things won't really get better at work but I have to find a way to just stick with it even if I end up missing four days in a row because of long days.

I didn't use any of their supplements. Found enough of what I needed from GNC.

For supplements all I'm doing is a protein shake and a daily multivitamin (which I take anyways). I need the protein shake after working out because I'm working out first thing in the morning and I won't have time to eat breakfast until I get to work.
