Exactly why I don't miss office work. This is kind of stupid. But if this is what your making a stand on in life then have at it.

Talk to a lawyer, I'm sure they could come up with some way for you to get a lot of money.

I never change them because I don't want to make a mess and they usually have maintenance to do that.

At the risk of offending, This seems like the "smallest" problem you could possibly complain about at work. Every solution mentioned should be reserved for something more important that could pop up one day.

Dude I may sound harsh, but just man up DC. It would be the polite thing to do. It may agitate you that she is capable of doing it and constantly calls on you to do it, but if for some reason you don't want to be kind to this person, at least do it for her because she served this country we live in. I don't think this is such a big deal DC, just do it out of kindness if not for her, then the other people that use that cooler.

Besides I used to do it at my old work all the time, it's not like it's hard to change it.
          1. Other people that use the cooloer MUST change it since I don't. So I don't need to do them any favors.

          2. @ What I underlined. I don't want to be disrespectful, but I won't factor THAT into THIS situation.

          3. Man up; LOL Ok. If Manning up is being taken adantage of and not speaking out about it then I am not a man

          4. I never said it was a big deal. I simply made a post about it and it gets on my nerves. If that means "big deal" then ok.
          Concrete evidence/videos please

Naw man, I feel you DC. I actually used to do this at my job ALL the time with no problem. However, one day I was at work sick and told them I couldn't do it that day and people were actually walking around with an attitude. Now, I straight up just don't do it. That may be petty and childish to some, but... what can I say.

Maybe she has an alterior motive. She's probably waiting for you to bend over to pick up the water bottle so she can clang her balls against yours.

Then again, something like that would probably get you fired. So yeah,I think it's best the way you're handling it.

I have several office locations around the Bay.. and they always wait for me to change the water. And like GSW said.. they got dudes in the office, but they don't want to get their shirts wrinkled. I don't even work out of these locations.

There was one time, when some of the employees looked at me as I was packing up anticipating me to change the water. They didn't ask me but I knew what they wanted. I must of had male PMS that day, cause I was in a foul mood. I went to the empty water container, got a cup, squeezed whatever was left in the flow tank, drank it, gave the peace sign and left.

Leave them dry DC. Go buy some bottled water and drink it at your desk.

The cold part is when the send the deaf lady at my job to ask me if i can change the water bottle.

Im not going to go into detail but its pretty f'd up.

At most of my jobs the women would ask the men to change the water...I'd do it without a problem. Am I the only one that doesn't see this as being a big deal? It only takes like 10 seconds, not like she's asking you to lift crap for an hour or something.

its a big deal when theres 6 other guys , one with a office right next tot he water bottle, and they send emails asking you to do it.

especially bad in DC's case when the girl asking him to do it is damn near bigger than him.
