As I said before, she is the ONLY person in this place that asks anyone else to change the water bottle.
By "us", if you mean the three black guys then you need to be documenting this stuff (unless as Trevytrev11 suggested your job duties are actually different from other office personel). But be wary of the fact that some of the people who aren't changing the bottle might have medical reasons on file excluding them. Don't make it about who ISN'T doing it and more about who IS.

I know how you feel. Since I'm the only man in my office it's assumed that when we go to the office supply store, and buy thos huge boxes of paper...that I'm going to lug everyone of them up 4 flights of stairs.

That's real annoying. Sometimes I get another Marine to help me, sometimes there isn't another Marine to help.

So much for women's liberation. Carry some damn boxes!

DC,bruh I'd call her out on it if I were you. It's obvious she sees some sort of problem brewing and that's why she tried to be slick. I'd tell her real quick that this ain't Gone with the Wind and my name ain't Mamie. I mean seriously, what the hell, today she wants you guys to change the water bottle, tomorrow she'll be wanting you to shuffle.

You've been doing the right thing by ignoring her emails.

I think it was to point out that he's being unappreciated.

By the title it looks like his own unappreciation of having to change the water bottle.

Well, the water bottle at my job still hasn't been changed (I believe today makes it nine days). I'm going on vacation next week so it'll be interested to see if anyone attempts to change it while I'm gone.

Just start bringing bottled water. Anyone ask, water cooler issues don't affect you.

Should be equally spread among those that do use it.

This touches on an interesting and frustrating point. One of my pet peeves is when people expect you to do something you probably shouldn't be expected to do in the first place, then when you don't, it turns into a sort of multi-day game of Chicken.

This used to happen when someone in the house would use a pan to cook something. I'd usually end up washing it because I knew already that they wouldn't. Sometimes though, I'd leave the pan uncleaned, the dishes unwashed, the counter unwiped, just to see if someone might actually grow weary of a filthy house and take initiative - or at least clean their own pan. A week later, I'm cleaning that pan.

Co-sign. My roommate is horrible. I quit trying and now just tack it on to the electric bill. Pad it by $5-15 depending on how much of his responsibilities i had to do.
