Re: Having To Change The Water Bottle At Work Unappreciation
I'm exactly the same. I hate it when people don't take responsibility for their messes or tasks. I refuse, absolutely refuse, to do the job for them. Call it stubborn, but I think it's pure laziness on the other person's part.
This used to happen when someone in the house would use a pan to cook something. I'd usually end up washing it because I knew already that they wouldn't. Sometimes though, I'd leave the pan uncleaned, the dishes unwashed, the counter unwiped, just to see if someone might actually grow weary of a filthy house and take initiative - or at least clean their own pan. A week later, I'm cleaning that pan.
This used to happen to me with my siblings. They'd leave an empty glass in my room and I'd just stare at it. I wouldn't pick it up or take it to the kitchen. Wasn't my glass.
I do it at work. I refuse to pick up my coworker's mess. Whenever our table needs cleaning because of a meeting, I'll just pile all of his things into one mess and throw it on his stuff - even if it's garbage. I don't care. Clean your own mess."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Nobody has said anything to me directly but I have seen a couple people go to get water and yell out something like "this is ridiculous. I wish someone would just change this".SimWorld NBA 2K19 Fictional Draft Classes

Haha, sounds like me.This touches on an interesting and frustrating point. One of my pet peeves is when people expect you to do something you probably shouldn't be expected to do in the first place, then when you don't, it turns into a sort of multi-day game of Chicken.
