It honestly tastes like a milkshake to me and i love it and it really fills me up.
Jonesy, Is the smoothie something you always have after working out? I work out in the morning, so could that supplement my breakfast?
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

It is terrible that your doctor wants to see you dead. Do your own research man and read up on the dangers of Splenda.n't forget it is in your doctor's best interest for you to be sick.

btw, I love Splenda. I love diet sodas as well. I love a lot of stuff people say is bad for you. It seems like whatever you eat is bad for you by someone out there. Fried foods are bad, okay. Eat more diet foods. Well, diet foods are bad for you because of what's in them. Screw all that. If you listened to everyone (and the weird guy in those vids that DC lives by ) then you wouldn't be able to put anything in your body at all because it's all bad for you.
Yogurt and ice have nothing to do with each other. That is like someone asking, "Should I put tomato sauce or cheese on my pizza." One doesn't replace the other.

Ice is nothing more than a thickener. Yogurt is more of a flavorer IMP.

Also, don't let that faulty, "Everything is bad for you, so I will do what I want," logic. You shouldn't be consuming fake sugar man. Diet soda is the devil. Stay away from it.

Supplement as in replace? If so, I would say no. A smoothie can be a snack, it shouldn't be a meal. If you can eat FOOD, eat food. Don't do the meal replacement thing.

Yeah mate that's what i do. I read carbs and protein is what you want post workout so this fits the bill nicely.

I workout at 5am somedays so i have the shake straight after and that fills me up nicely so i don't even have a traditional breakfast on those days. Comes in handy because i'm always rushed for time when i workout in the a.m. before work.

EDIT: DC and i agree to disagree.

I work out in the morning as well and have my smoothie right after the workout and then eat breakfast a little bit later when I get to work.

What is it that you disagree with Jonesy? That real food > a protein smoothie?

Nah i agree with that 100%. I just meant that in the morning post workout there is nothing wrong with substituting "breakfast" for a post workout shake. It's def a good idea to get some real food in not long after like Stu said.
