    No, not you...

Just kidding. You're actually good for us. We need that person telling us that certain things are bad because even if we disagree with it, we'll atleast evaluate it at the least. The more info the better. You're like my mom..and don't take that as a bad thing. Moms keep us out of trouble. lol

Anyways, my girlfriend and I didn't watch what we ate while we where on vacation and I enjoyed every minute of it. We had a big breakfast, lunch, and a nice dinner (with appetizer, entrée and dessert most nights).

I'll name just a few things I had just for the sake of conversation. For breakfast, I had everything from western omelet's, to fruit waffle's and chocolate chip pancakes. For lunch, usually had a something kind of small. One day I had a teiyaki burger, a pineapple burger and spam wasabi. For dinner, I tried something different every night, we had a luau one night which was a huge feast and I totally pigged out (literally). We had buffet dinner's twice once went we went out on a Catamaran and another night we went to an all you can eat seafood buffet. Other entrée's I had that I can remember is seafood fajitas, seafood rizotto and prime rib.

Luckily, I didn't gain much weight even though I ate that much (just gained a pound or two). I think the reason for that was because we stayed so active while we were there. We did all kind's of different activities like snorkeling, mountain biking, hiking, walking (a lot), etc. Things like that really makes my wish that we had things to do like that here but, unfortunately there nothing to do outdoor's here.

Since I came home we started our "Kevin and Amanda" diet. This diet was inspired by my girlfriend reading aukevin's wife's website. It's basically just a way for us to kind of watch what we eat but, still eat the food's that we enjoy the most. Since we've been back home I've lost the two pounds that I gained in Hawaii and am back down to my lowest weight so far this year which is 214. Hopefully, I can stay strong and keep fighting the good fight but, we'll see.
Sounds like a sweet vacation. I'm hungry just reading about it.

Staying motivated is the hardest part for me when it comes to food, but it sounds like you and the missus got a good program goin. Stay motivated, good luck.

I walked the dog but only about a half a mile as my legs are just DONE today.

Not sure what I'll have for dinner to be honest.
I had a good day until our daughter backed the new(last summer) family van into a tree. The tree won the battle with the car. Passenger side tail light is busted and back fender needs to be replaced.

This is going to cost buku bucks.

I don't think we will run it through insurance. I'm sure the rates may go up and like my cousin, our insurance agent said, you need to factor into your decision if you want to put a claim in for her at such a young age.

Sorry, off topic, had to vent.

Heard there was a body shop in town that will lower the cost if you don't go through insurance. Time to find estimates.

DC's gonna hate me cause I drink a can of diet coke every day with lunch and drink alcohol most weekends.

Tea tastes like **** so i'm not drinking that i get sick of water and protein shakes all the time.

I figure with my dieting, cardio and weights i'm already doing more than 90% of the population to get healthy and stay healthy, i want to actually enjoy my life a little bit as well.

Sure this stuff may be bad for you but i like it so i'm still going to indulge in them occasionally. I'd rather die at 75 and lived a life full of doing things i enjoy then live to 90 and lived my whole life depriving myself of these little treats. Each to their own though...

Man, your doing great. I think you and I were close it weight awhile back now, your blowing me away by 5 pounds. However, my current plan is more of a long-term type of plan. I'm hoping to just lose a half a pound or a pound every week for a year and hopefully, by this time next year I can reward my progress with another vacation. Anyways, keep up the good work.

So I go into work today and my coworker tells me that it looks like my shoulders got broader. And later, another coworker tells me that it looks like I'm getting buffer overall.

And THIS is why I work out.

That's great to hear! I have to actively fish for compliments (hence all my picture posting and stuff, LOL).

Had a roast beef with lowfat swiss wrap tonight w/spinach, tomatoes, mustard, A1 and horseradish. It was pretty good but I could have done without the horseradish probably. Oh yeah and one sugar free popsicle. I think I finished about 1200 calories for the day so that was pretty good.

P90X plyometrics wasn't too bad at all. I forgot to do Ab Ripper X on Day 1 so I'm going to do it on days 2-4-6 for Week 1 then go to 1-3-5 for Week 2-4.

                            I strongly recommend this recipe:

A blog about home economics: cooking, canning, food preservation, recipes, crafting, sewing

                            It tastes f'n amazing!!!

I tried on a few pairs of 34 waist size jeans this morning. A little snug, but a long way from the size 38 I was in two months ago.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.
