    1g? Oops, mine have 7 :o

I don't have the diet kind, though, but high fiber instead. I guess to mask the fiber taste they add more sugar..

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I've been a slacker this week and haven't been the gym. I won't be going next week, either, because I'm gonna be in Louisville for a church conference. Starting the week of the 8th, it'll be the start of 30 minutes of riding the recumbent bike and weight training again. Still weigh around 215, which is good. I don't really have a weight goal, though. I just want to lose about one or two more pant sizes (to get to 32 or 34) and to be solid all around. I'll probably end up weighing around 210-220 when I'm where I want to be.

I just had a big salad with some light ranch, some macaroni & cheese (small amt) and some cole slaw (decent sized helping). It's from a bbq place so I'm going to have to guess the calories on it all. I have no idea so I'll guess high, 480 calories, so that puts me at 900 calories for the day.

Which means I need to be done eating until I'm off work - it's a good thing i'm full though..

Ok, I actually broke down and ate my chicken wrap I brought in today so I'm at about 1300 calories for the day. Looks like it's going to be some soup or something light for dinner tonight or i'm in danger of busting over my calorie limit.

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

I ended up at about 1600 calories yesterday, had 3" turkey sub with some tortilla chips w/salsa. a little high but not too bad.

ok, i got my cholesterol and sugar numbers from the doctor this morning:

blood sugar 91 (should be 70 to 110) <== very good
total cholesterol 152 (should be less than 200) <== very good
LDL (bad cholesterol) 88 (should be less than 100) <== ok
HDL (good cholesterol) 29 (should be more than 40 for men) <== poor
Triglycerides 176 (should be less than 200) <== ok

Overall it's about what I thought it'd be although I'm surprised my cholesterol is 152, that's nearly 30 points from last years lower (181)! I'm a little disappointed that my HDL is 29. The doctors note is "exercise more, eat more fish and take fish oil tables". I'm already doing the first two so all I know to do is the last one. I can't possibly exercise anymore, honestly my body is about at max exercise capacity and doing more would be detrimental IMO. And I already eat fish 3 to 5 times a week so that's as much as I care to.

Anyone have any further insight on how to increase HDL? If so holla as I'm all ears.

I had some fresh mushrooms with A1 sauce cooked in a pan this morning. I know, odd breakfast but the mushrooms needed to be cooked. So put me down for a 150 calorie breakfast.

ODogg, I was feeling some breakfast food so I took your McMuffin advice and it was good! 7 WW points if anyone is curious.

Slimm..I'm wondering what my waist should be at. I'm 6'4" and am thinking 34 or 32. I'm almost at a 34 to where I can do it everyday. Some of my 34s are too tight.

I did miss the sausage. I'm going to get whole wheat muffins, eggs, and some turkey sausage for Sunday breakfast.

Anywhere from 32-36 is probably ok. It depends on what your natural build is, also. I am pretty slender naturally, so I know that 36-38 is a little too big for me. If I can get to 32 or 34 it would be closer to my natural body type.

I'm 6-3 214 today...surprised after eating not too great. P90X is doing well for me as I'm seeing good definition all over.

If I stick with a diet about 30 days I'll be where I want.

BTW I wear a 34 waist...and heck I'm around 13% bf right now. I guess that just says how some people have different frames.
