I assumed you believe I wouldn't comprehend your statement so you edited out bigotry.

Foremost I agree that the parents in this situation are downright immature and offensive. I cannot state my full opinion because of the TOS but I will state that while I believe I am open-minded about situations and circumstances in no way do I confuse that with a liberalistic view and ensure my children can separate the 2 as well.

Getting back to the point however, is the fact a homosexual wanted to fellowship with heterosexuals. Why wouldn't you think something like this wouldn't happen? The south hasn't condoned this practice compared to the rest of the country so yes the levels of tolerance aren't as "high".

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

It wouldn't have happened in a city in Minnesota. Cities here are pretty "progressive". Maybe it'd happen in a rural town...

                Complete myth.

Sexual orientation is determined by nature, not nurture.

Didn't Cali just vote yes for that prop 8 making marriage between a man and woman? That doesn't sound like equality to me.

May bad, BK - I thought you stated ignorance was a reason. I've edited that out...It's 11pm @ EST.

They did. Thanks to political backing and money out of Salt Lake City.

However, doesn't really compare and you again avoided the question. Unless it's your contention that California has a worse track record than the South when it comes to intolerance?

Was that what you were getting at?

I've never seen a gay bear.

Why would "nature" create something that could potentially spread and end a species?

Study after study after study has debunked this.

Do you also believe the Earth is flat?
