I went and did the field test before seeing my eye specialist and I couldn't see a single flash of light out of that eye. it's not ALL the glaucoma though which is a good thing. The cornea in that eye has gotten thick so it makes it more difficult. Anyways the occular pressure in both eyes are within acceptable means and i'm not going to do anything further with the left eye in terms of surgery/proceedure as the left eye is basically useless. I'm thankful that my right eye is so strong in terms of vision and field of vision or i'd be in a much worse predicament these days.

After that I bought NHL 11 (PS3) and Burnout Paradise (PS3, both new and only spent $44.95. Burnout Paradise is only $20 and NHL was $60.

Just picked up NBA 2k11 so I was looking through the player ratings. Damn Dirk got MURDERED. Him having the same rating as Kidd and 4 points lower than Manu is crazy.

78 for TP seems low too.

A new reason I hate Dish... was watching baseball, had it paused earlier so I was about 20 minutes behind live TV, I go to skip ahead through a commercial break and nothing happens. The "sat" indicator lights up but none of the buttons have any effect other than Volume, which is considered a TV function.

Took batteries out, put them back in, still not working. Receiver then turns itself off. Turns back on about a minute later but all my 20 minutes built up are gone, at least the remote works now.

This was happening Saturday as I tried to watch football but I wasn't noticing the remote malfunction because I was playing NCAA 11 while I had the TV paused, only to come back to find live tv and only the option to rewind 30 seconds (it must have just happened), costing me the whole 1st quarter of the Florida/Alabama game, which ended up not being all that interesting anyway. It went on to happen 2 more times that night, this is the first it's happened since Saturday.

Why, why, why do they pick one song every year to just MURDER? If I hear Kid Rock's Born Free one more time, I'm Van Goughing my ears so I don't have to hear it anymore.

Seriously, just get some standard sports music to play. Like how Fox has their MLB jingle thing.

I just hate everything about TBS's coverage. Except Brian Anderson.

Why do police departments tell the public when they're going to have a "crack down on agreesive driving" week?

I understand that announcing it will cause some people to drive safer, but I suspect that will only last until the week is over. I would think that not announcing it and in turn handing out more tickets would help prevent more future issues. Speeding tickets certainly caused me to slow down and I doubt telling me I need to slow down for a week would have had the same effect.

Because people drive by habit and if you are in fear of a ticket for a week, perhaps you'll be careful for that week and then some.

Not permanent but I'm sure it helps and the people they do catch gets them some revenue.
