Enjoying a nice one tonight. Jefferson's. Very smooth, very soft. About 82 proof.

Just seeing this thread. Knob Creek single barrel rye may be the best I've ever had. Hard to find round these parts though.

Tried Jim Beam Devil's Cut, I wasn't really looking to run out and try it as I don't like Jim Beam very much at all (though Booker's is fantastic and both Knob Creek and Baker's are good, all three from the same distillery as Beam). Anyway, it was available so I gave it a try. Honestly, it tastes like Jim Beam and Jack Daniel's mixed together, only getting the best qualities from both. I still didn't like it, not surprising since I don't like Beam or Jack Daniel's, but it's at least better than both of those on their own.

I love Jack but think Beam is too sweet. Does this stuff taste sweet like Beam or more like JD? I've been curious to try.

Sweet, it's still Beam, the process of pulling from the barrel just gives it more char and wood.

I'm going to have to see if the liquor store has this in the one hit bottles.

Still working on a bottle of Blanton's. Really good stuff. My backup bottle as of late has actually been Evan Williams. Had some at my buddies house a while back as it was all he had. For the price, it's suprisingly good. Better than Jack and Jim IMO, and about half the price.

I never gave it a shot due to the low price, but it's not half bad.

Evan Williams really is a star of the low cost bourbon, really great stuff.

I used to drink Evan Williams and R&R in HS. It was around the same price of a Club 400 and Heavin Hills and much better taste..

I could probably still drink it to this day, but it's been years.

I've been drinking more mixed vodka lately, but I'll probably go out tonight and order a few Maker's on the rocks.

Got myself a bottle of Bushmills Irish Honey cause there was a deal with buying that and Baileys and the girlfriend needed the latter.

I'm hesitant but we shall see.

I'm I retested to see what you say. I always stay away from the honey stuff because I think it'll be far too sweet.

I like the JD Tennesee Honey and Wild Turkey American Honey, but they are really sweet. I can only drink a little bit of it before I'm done with it.

I like WT 101, so the Honey in it is sort of too much.
