    The Pleasures of Life Thread

Getting in a classic video game binge. This Spider-Man game is a good time. I couldn’t put it down, work was rough on a few hours sleep. Lol

when its warm enough in January to spend the evening sitting on the back deck with a cold frosty beverage and listen to nature.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Hearing my 2.5 year old spell his name for the first time.

Actually, anything he does brings my wife & I great pleasure. His looks, his interactions, it’s all magical. I shake my head often when I think of how lucky we are.

Re: The Pleasures of Life Thread

All these years I'd sometimes get annoyed at people who leave their screaming kids outside when weather is warm (to be fair, if your kid is playing, teach them that screaming "HELP" repeatedly shouldn't be part of their game. People might actually get concerned/check in on them)

This year I hope to not be one of those people, but it'll be fun regardless. Start off small, work way up to the big things like water guns(I wonder how much those have changed over the year) and sports.

I feel like I'd get surprised more than anything shopping for spring/summer toys. One of those "when I was younger, we didn't have/care about...." moments.

Are you putting together a water-gun fight?

No. Just having one to randomly play with in backyard. I had some when I was little, those medium sized super soakers.

Don't know how much they've changed for kids of today.

This summer is probably still early for the big stuff, next year is more realistic. Probably those little backyard kiddie pools is more realistic this year.

My brother and I had those exact ones.

The toys themselves haven't changed much. Some are a little bit more extreme, but nothing groundbreaking in the water-gun industry.

So are you inviting the kids over for the pool or are you just gonna lounge?

                              lol, both answers sound bad.

I'm in the "fun uncle" phase lol. Everyone else can do the other stuff like reading, singing and all that, I got dibs on games.

                                Warm weather.

                                But more importantly.
