I like both those players, but they won't reach the levels Giroux already has. I think they'll max out as essentially a Richards/Carter duo, and we drove them out of town (promptly winning a Cup in LA).

Signing Bryzgalov completely stunted any growth Bobrovsky was going to have. Great rookie season, Laviolette pulls him after ONE playoff game where we scored I think 1 goal offensively. And he never was able to get a real shot at it again with Bryz coming to town in the offseason. Then the defense lets us down and we drive off Bryz too. Any curses the Flyers have coming their way have been earned as of recent.

It will be interesting to see if Bob has sticking power.

I definitely don't believe Mason to be the answer, but I think Emery is a good stopgap. Still, it'll really depend on our TEAM DEFENSE. If they can't put it together, can we really say our goalie failed us, again (as if it was completely true in the first place)? Laviolette's magic is running out, too.

It could be a disastrous season, or our depth offensively could finally put it all together and be a powerhouse with a suitable D and maybe a surprising year outta Mason and/or Emery. I just have this feeling it's going to be a very average year again for the Flyers, just as I had a deep down inside feeling that last year's half season would doom us.

      In my life, I've seen-

2 LSU Football National Championships (plus the "golden age")
      4 LSU Football SEC Championships
6 LSU Baseball National Championships (Really only seen 4, but still)
6 LSU Baseball SEC Championships (Really 5)
11 LSU College World Series Appearances (8)
      1 LSU Basketball Final Four
      1 Super Bowl
      1 World Series

I think I am BEYOND lucky to see all of that. Humbled even.
And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

In the last 13 years I've seen:

3 Superbowls (and two more SB appearances)

        2 World Series

1 NBA Title (and another finals appearance)

1 Stanley Cup (and another finals appearance)

        That's lucky right there.

You're cool and all, but I hate you.

All I've seen with Michigan is somewhat tainted with the success really coming no later than high school. Since high school, I've seen them become Ohio's bitch, and the dreadful App State game. Ungrateful? Probably.

Tampa Bay, they were good from late elementary through almost all of high school for me. Playoff appearances, and a SB win. Pretty cool to know I've seen the best team they've ever had.

Reds, didn't get into baseball until about 4/5 years ago. I don't claim anything before that.

Being a fan of a team that sucks is cool once they turn it around.

I've seen 3 Grey Cup appearances that all ended in heartbreak and 1 NBA Finals appearance that ended in a sweep.

            And just to recap....

NFL - San Diego Chargers - Have never won a championship. Well, 1 AFL title but who's counting that?

NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers - Have never won a championship....and LeBron

NHL - Winnipeg Jets - Have never won a championship and were also taken away for 15 years. Sadly, this is the brightest spot of all my teams.

CFL - Winnipeg Blue Bombers - Haven't won a championship in 23 years (I'm 21). Also the biggest joke and most inept out of an 8 team league.

I'm up all night to get lucky.

I know that feeling, and it's awesome. I've been onboard with the Seahawks since day 1 in '76. I gotta say, the Carroll Era so far has been the most exciting and fast-moving.

I have a lot of respect for fans that stick with their teams through thick and thin, rather that just the sexy pick.

I have a buddy at work who is a lifer Cowboys fan, and he's out on the ledge almost every week, muttering "Jerry Jones in an IDIOT!" over and over, lol. I respect my co-worker because the Cowboys have REALLY tested their long-time fanbase for a long time now. Same with the Browns.

I really like the beach too, although when I lived 10 minutes away from the beach sometimes I would go 5-6 months without going at all. Now I wish I would have taken advantage of that a lot more.

With that said going to Hawaii (Ohau in 2010 & Maui in 2012), then Cozumel this year, has kind of killed my enthusiasm for beaches along the Gulf Coast. Not that I hate going or anything, but going to a non-crowed beach is way better than going to a beach where everyone is on top of each other. Plus, the scenery and snorkeling is much, much better.

I don't know how I'll react to my teams winning it all. I'll go crazy for the Flyers since I was born into that, but I'll probably take a more even keel approach if the Reds or lol yeah right the Bills turn the trick. Doesn't help that I'd be the only one celebrating since I'm way out of town of those teams, though I sense my friends would be pretty excited for me knowing the journey. Lol

I will quit my job if I have to to go to the Flyers parade. That will be quite the turnout. I'm contemplating taking a serious road trip if the Reds win it all... Never know when or if it will happen again...

                      For my teams

                      - Seen the Blue Jays win back to back World Series championships and then fade into mediocrity. Who knows what happens after this season.

                      - Seen the Bills go to 4 SBs and a few trips to the playoffs but the last decade plus they've been crap and are going through something like their 3rd or 4th rebuild.

                      - Raptors made it to the Conference Semi-Finals and since then have been either a joke or an afterthought.

                      - The Leafs are surprisingly the most promising of these teams as they had a run of success in the '90s and it finally looks like they have a foundation to build upon with Dave Nonis as GM.

                      - Seen Notre Dame win a National Title but I was barely cognizant of its meaning as I wasn't a big NCAA fan then. The program has seen its ups and downs but it seems like they have a legit head coach in Kelly.

I really want to see FSU win a title this season because I can only imagine how crazy this place will be, next season could work too but i'll be interning in Tampa so i'll only be in town for some games and would be a graduate by the time bowls came around.

Pro Team wise despite it being lower on the totem pole for me I really want to see the Marlins win the most as being the laughing stock of baseball is only cool for so long. I missed out on the 2 glory years as one I was only 4 and the other I remember watching and thought it was cool but didn't care cause I only liked football.

I nearly tore my entire knee up celebrating the Tracy Porter pick six cause I was completely still on the couch nervous and then exploded into a frenzy.
