Re: News that make you say WTF?
From a completely honest stand point I would vote that he is/was more attractive than I was at that general age. He had more money and material wealth. I wasn't a top notch ladies man but I had no problem getting girlfriends that were attractive enough for me to find them attractive and ended up married to someone I still find very attractive.
So for him to "never" have had a girlfriend/kiss just doesn't compute to me from a completely superficial stand point. Obviously(understatement of the day) there are other things going on here but that part of this makes me really wonder what I am missing. As the father of a high school aged son I don't like feeling that way.
The guy had obvious(that word again) underlying issues but is that the catch all reasoning that applies here?Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
I kind of had that question. Is he considered unattractive? I mean he had wealth and at least some connection to the whole Hollywood fame thing. So besides the obvious personality and mental issues is there something physical that I am missing that would have kept him from finding any girl that would date him?

And it doesn't surprise me that he's a trust fund baby. He gets hit with minor adversity and he completely melts down.Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
12-year-olds stab friend in effort to prove fictional character is real
Both suspects explained the stabbing to police referencing their dedication to Slender Man, the character they discovered on a website devoted to horror stories.
One girl told police that Slender Man is the "leader" of Creepypasta, and in the hierarchy of that world, one must kill to show dedication. She said the other suspect told her they should become "proxies" of Slender Man — a paranormal figure known for his ability to create tendrils from his fingers and back — and kill their friend to prove themselves worthy of him. She said she was surprised by the suggestion, but also excited to prove skeptics wrong and show that Slender Man really did exist.
The suspects believed that "Slender," as one girl called him, lived in a mansion in the Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin. The plan was to kill the victim and walk to Slender's mansion.Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
Forget the Slender part, read the entire story. It's cryptic how detailed and vivid the suspects were in their testimonies, and how bipolar they sound. Plus, stabbed nineteen times and survived?
