That did make me say WTF, it made me say that's cool as hell. That looked closer to a puma than a bobcat. The Florida Bobcats are larger than the Michigan bobcat. That would be closer to a northern Lynx. The Michigan Bobcats that I have seen were much smaller than that and not as sleek.

This is wrong on so many levels. She was fired from her job and might very well get blacklisted in her profession because I don't think any reputable veterinary clinic would want to hire a vet that does this.

Oh, this disturbed me....Sure, she says it's feral, but not like people should be bow hunting animals in their neighborhood....

How can you do this and be a vet? I can't imagine any vet friends I know wanting to kill an animal like this. Hunting is one thing, this isn't hunting.

I responded to this shooting. It's just a few blocks out of our first due area...but with the nature of this incident.....they sent a lot of units out.
I didn't think he would make it through the night. Honestly was surprised he made it for any length of time. Tough kid. Just 25. Sucks.
We see the anti-crime units(of which he worked in one)...all the time. I don't specifically remember him though. These areas aren't really "bad"......but they do have some real rough patches.(South Jamaica, Queens Village, Cambria Heights....and where I am...St. Albans). In my 20+ years there....one thing I have noticed is gang activity and shootings up BIG TIME. These guys earn their keep and always put it on the line.

Yeah, with how bad I read he was shot (spinal cord and through the brain) there's no way he could survive, sadly. Glad he's somewhere better now and not in any pain or anything like that.

Sucks that we are seeing so much death lately on both sides of the spectrum....tough being a legit cop, having to worry about protecting yourself but not going over the line.
