I bought the remake on 360 but sadly the music was a huge downgrade.

People in the north don't know how to drive in the snow either. All these jokes about how the south shuts down in a storm, but I've never heard of a 100 car pileup in Dallas.

I've also never heard about feet of snow and inches of ice on the road down south either.

...I'd appreciate it if no one researched that.

Ice is ice once it's thick enough to make the roads slick

There were 8-10 FOOT snowdrifts on I-35 in southern Minnesota. My parents just drove through the aftermath on their way to their 2-month winter stay in SoCal and said the side of the road was insane.

Ninja Turtles on SNES was fun.

I remember back in school one of my teachers had his old SNES he brought. Anytime in his class we had "free time" we'd be allowed to play it and that was one of only games he had. It was fun to play and basically have our whole class taking turns, rotating in and out after someone died.

He was one of coolest teachers I had, not just because of SNES.

I don’t even understand how you guys live.

After that cold snap a month or two ago and having some friends in Michigan who were ordered to put their heat to like 63 degrees, I think I realized how close to the edge we all could be if weather decided to wreak havoc over a prolonged period of time.

Oh I had that alert on my phone too, apparently a major Consumers power building caught fire in the middle of an arctic blast

Consumers Energy is still trying to determine the cause of a fire that led to residents being asked to lower thermostats during the polar vortex.

the words "polar vortex fire emergency" are terrifying

65 is cold? My house is set to 19c(66F I think) at night. Basement without space heater on is in mid to low 60s.

Then again I have people who visit that live in condos who complain about 21 or 22c(70F) because they're use to cranking up the heat and live in closed space so of course it'd feel warmer faster and with more insulation.

                        Not to mention

I actually don't. I've gotten myself use to cold and hot temperatures over the years. It's not perfect, but I can deal with temperatures way better than the average person. Heating and AC? In extreme conditions sure, but I don't rely on it(except in a car, though that's a real confined space, you need to have it)

One of the best things I've seen someone say about Fortnite:

It's like a video game daycare for all the kids under 12.

When you put it that way it sounds cool, but I hate the impact and influence it has had on some developers like DICE who are wasting time and resources developing a BR game when their core modes still need a lot of work.

It's a market they won't compete long term for because Fortnite, APEX, etc. have it covered and are going to do it better so why bother and keep crapping on your long-time fans in the process?
